About the game:
In the remote mountains of Colorado, horrors wait inside Mount Massive Asylum. A long-abandoned home for the mentally ill, recently re-opened by the “research and charity” branch of the transnational Murkoff Corporation, the asylum has been operating in strict secrecy… until now.
Acting on a tip from an anonymous source, independent journalist Miles Upshur breaks into the facility, and what he discovers walks a terrifying line between science and religion, nature and something else entirely. Once inside, his only hope of escape lies with the terrible truth at the heart of Mount Massive.
Outlast is a true survival horror experience which aims to show that the most terrifying monsters of all come from the human mind.
It's easily one of the scariest games I've ever played! Seriously, I can't get very far in it as it really is frightening.
Our streamer will likely be doing the Outlast DLC for Halloween on our Twitch channel which should be a lot of fun.
You've got another 1 day and ~8 hours to grab it for free for the Humble Store.

For those that have the game but not the DLC, you get a separate steam key for the DLC.

There is also a fairly huge discount on "we are the dwarves" there - almost enough for me to overcome the barrier of 'you need to create an account'.. almost but in the end my laziness prevailed.
Honestly it's 2017 what website that wants to make money do no have an option to buy with out creating an account - or at the very least an option to sing in with facebook/twitter/google/steam :|

While you're on this subject, let me share my solution for "modern day problems"... I have multiple "throw-away" email addresses. I keep my primary address for instant contact, and for friends/family to use to contact me. My second email address I use for signing up with Banks, Amazon, Ebay and similar. Then I use a third address for services e.g. Twitter, Newspaper websites, Shopping sites, GOG, Steam, anywhere where I very rarely want to read the emails.
Not signing up for an account - well, it's up to you, but I like getting my hands on these various offers (and some of them are DRM Free, e.g. this Outlast has Steam keys and DRM free downloads)

I went to get it, picked up the keys and when I tried to add the key to steam it said I already had it... Ooops... That shows how often I play FPS's. But I did not have the DLC and added that to my steam library.
Not that it matters, the last FPS I truly enjoyed and spent time in was Painkiller... a little over 10 years ago with a machine that was a brand new dual core amd 5000+. That machine was the last windows install that I ever used, I went exclusively to linux after that and the machine still works even though it mostly gathers dust now. The only reason why I never dual-booted and switched to linux on that computer was the motherboard wasn't compatible. a nForce2 chipset iirc. (I had been using linux partially roughly another 10 years before that...)

No, you cannot get it for free as DRM-free Download. I tried to 'buy' it (I do have a Humble account), but it leads to a page that says that I have to link my Steam account to the Humble Account.
Looking at the FAQ this seems to be the case for any free game.
I find that quite a disrespect of DRM-free users, and for me this makes Humble lose all the bonus points they got with their last 'Very Positive Bundle 2' :(
You can likewise set up a 'throwaway' Steam login. I'm doing these steps myself, so I know if it works for future reference.
1. Grab your throwaway email account. e.g. [email protected]
2. Go to steampowered.com and sign in a new login with the throwaway account.
3. Go to humble and link the new steam account to humble.
4. Grab your DRM free download.
5. Never bother logging in to Steam.
6. Tada!!!! You have the DRM free download and you never used steam, and you can use this for all future freebies.
I have just done the steps above. Brand new email account, then brand new steam account (on website only), then brand new humble account, then go into humble settings and link to brand new steam account, then pick up freebie Outlast, then download the DRM free copy. At no point was I forced to download Steam client, install it, and use it - to perform the above steps.
So, as I said before - It is completely DRM Free. (Just a few more hoops to jump through, that's all.)

I got the game, it gave two separate keys ( includes a DLC ). I am already scared of watching the trailer... I dunno how I am gonna even play it :/

You do get a DRM-free download, at least in this case. I "bought" this free package and have both Steam keys and DRM downloads in my Humble library now. Unfortunately, there's no DRM-free download of the DLC for Mac or Linux. There is a DRM-free download of the DLC for Windows, so maybe you can bug the developer to upload the Linux version too.
