What do you get when you cross a MOBA style game with PUBG (PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS), well Prime Arena [Steam] apparently. It should see a Linux release in future too.

I came across it recently as a fan of both styles of games it caught my interest. I reached out to the developer on Steam to ask about Linux support, here's what they said:

Hey there!

Of course, we have plans for Linux, but so far there are no exact dates for the implementation of these plans yet. :) Our primary task is to make a good game based on to the players' tests and feedback, to take into account all the details and nuances. And after that, we are going to move the game to other platforms.

One to keep on the radar then for now.

About the game

Prime Arena is a combination of MOBA and survival gameplay inspired by PUBG.
This dynamic deathmatch arena is free of forced socialization and thus of toxic atmosphere found in MOBAs.

Victory fully depends on player’s skill and reaction speed — no teammates, no cry!
The game currently is in Coming Soon status on Steam. Developers follow players` feedback and ideas constantly to implement the best of them in the game

Rarely do I see a trailer that tells me so little about the game. If I don't read your accompanying text, all I can tell is "Fantasy where you wander around and hit stuff. And there's a dragon."

It's got kind of a World of Warcraft look to the art style, which isn't bad, but the combat animations look kind of awkward.

I echo Kels.
Trailer tells us almost nothing of the game.

What a curious chimera. Here's hoping it survives its gestation.
