That's right, Humble Bundle is back in force with a bundle full of Linux games, but, err...it might be a bit full of anime boobs.

Introducing, the Humble Hunie Sakura Bundle. Yes, this really is a thing.

For a massive $1 or more, you will be granted:

HunieCam Studio, Sakura Agent (Humble has a Linux icon, Steam does not), Sakura Fantasy, Sakura Beach, Sakura Beach 2, Sakura Angels and Sakura Spirit.

Then if you splurge the cash for more than the average payment you get:

HuniePop, Sakura Swim Club, Sakura Nova, Sakura Space, Sakura Shrine Girls (has a Linux version, but Humble forgot the Linux icon), Sakura Magical Girls and Sakura Santa.

Then to top it all off, if you pay $10 you get:

Sakura Dungeon

I'll be honest, I stay well away from such games for fear of a) getting slightly aroused and then b) having to question my life choices. Although, they've already made over $88K with this bundle, am I really missing something?

Wow, they will literally bundle anything up now, huh? Wake me up when they do a Humble Indie Bundle, as that sure would be damn nice.

Thanks to Ethan Lee's tweet for pointing it out and getting my hopes up.

Yeah, that bundle.. only thing I think I'd play is Sakura Dungeon. Well, I'm sure they'll be able to sale a lot of them.

You know, I thought the same thing a while back, it LOOKS like a Shining in the Darkness style game with a bit more cleavage than it. But... I just couldn't play it. Basically instead of slimes, or evil orks or whatever, there were 'Bunnies' and not the all furry kind that like to hump. Well okay, they do like to hump apparently, but aren't 100% covered in fur....

I think it was the whole 'Beating them into submission' that got to me, or the fact that the voices were shrill and terrible. And while I understand that's considered 'hot' for some odd reason for most Anime... yeah that's one I shouldn't have bought.

Worse part is, since I bought it on Steam, for a VERY long time that's all I'd see in recommended lists.... the Sakura games..

I have a suggestion for a (supprisingly) number of commenter before me.
What about you play the games you like and let other people play the games they like, even if you don't ?
If some of these games have positive reviews, there is a reason.

Do you and I likes all kind of games ? Do you like walking Simulation ? Do you like visual novel ? Do you like hardocde rogue like ? Do you like mainstream FPS COD-Like ? Do you like Open world games ? Do you like card games ?

Every one of us have its preferences, and only because one type of game is more of a Niche and may be just a bit sexual does not allow anyone to discriminate against these games and especially against the people that play it. Even if it includes masturbation (or not). I somehow expected more from the linux and indie game community.

So stay open for anything new and 1$ may be a cheap way to give a it go.
And Hunie Pop is worth 7$ and much more. Very good dating sim.

If you want to open yourself to other kind of game you may want to look at this dedicated website.

I don't really have an issue with sexuality in video games. Hell I loved the Leisure Suit Larry games. I think I'm just not a big fan of Anime, even though I think I have most of these games either because I already got them really cheaply, or they were in other bundles. Can't recall where I got Hunie Pop, but I know I have it and Sakura Dungeon. I'll probably buy this bundle just because I'm a terrible video game hoarder and it's for charity, right?

So, what exactly are these games? I tried watching a few of the videos, hoping to learn a bit about the gameplay, but they all seem to be just slideshows of "titillating" characters.

Found this video?

Never hide yourself in a relationship (maybe just on a few dates) it's not healthy.
Also the truth will come out eventually. And then it might or might not create a problem.

So, I'd like to support devs bringing their games to Linux... if it's actually kind of a good game.

To all the people complaining about these type of games, be smart: gift them.

Here some ideas:
-friends
-enemies
-trolls on steam
-trolls on reddit
-trolls in the wild
-GOL staff
-Linux youtubers
-Linux Celebrities (Do Stallman or Torwalds have Steam installed?)
-Phoronix
-give them as prize for multiplayer games with your friends
-your friend's kids
-print the keys and put them in an envelope, leave the envelope in a public place (a place with a lot of pc gamers is better) with a message like "Free Steam Boobs"
-wedding gift
-divorce gift
-birthday gift for your 8 years old son, with the message "wait 10 years to open them"
-Christmas Gift
-Linux porters like Feral, VP and others: an unusual way to thank them, so unusual that they may stop porting games due to being too embarrassed or too...busy:D
-Mesa developers, with the request to optimize the driver for a "smooth" experience
-your favorite FOSS developers
-prize for the best player of the Ballistic Monday
-your Dungeon Master as a suggestion or in exchange of your character life
-your teacher as an "educational game" or for an A.
-your boyfriend to keep him company
-your girlfriend to take inspiration
-yourself, as a prize for reading all this crazyness

these type of games are very popular in Japan and Asia but unfortunately most people here the world only exists of the USA...
The same problem occurs with competitive puzzle games who see no fanbase outside of asia.

Getting aroused never causes me to question my life choices. To the contrary, it's when I realize I haven't been getting aroused much that I start to have questions . . .
Exactly, all the points I've put into seduction, which is all the points, better pay off.

So do you guys accept bribes for positive coverage of games in the form of other, unrelated sexay hentai games?

Well, after reading these comments, I hesitate a bit...

These games ought to be DRM-free!
Otoh, they have Linux support, and could offer lots of fun (not the least, joke and pun subjects).
The sad thing is that there is little on the way of gameplay or story.

But now that I think about it, it might be the perfect kind of game to practice Japanese at a beginner level (do you have other recommendations?)

There is this. Not ported sadly :

Thanks for the find! No, I hadn't seen that, I just clicked a few of the videos on the Humble page.

What a huge pile of crap. A great example of why Steam is in badly need of better curation.

Don't confuse crap games with games that are not your taste. Crap games are those littered with bugs or just made of assets bought on a store, but considering the positive review on these titles, i doubt this is the case here. If you don't like it, just don't buy/play.

But they are! Just copy/paste the game file. If I remember well, it is even open-source and cross-platform (some python stuff)
