To join in the fun of the Arena Mode, you can speak to Joan, the Arena Master, who will be in every major city. However, you must have Tier 4 equipment at least to participate.
Each team starts with 150 points and it's a race to bring down the score of the opposing team. You do so by capturing Runestones. Once all three of these are captured, they will be destroyed and spawn in again to allow either team to capture them again.
The battles will be 5v5 and you can join as a solo player, or as a group.
It actually sounds pretty decent, something that will really break up the grind-fest that the game ends up being. There's a lot more than just the Arena battle mode, like new expeditions, UI updates and more that we've covered before.
