That's right, even though we don't know what their last Linux port hint was about, Feral Interactive have begun teasing another new Linux port.

Here's the new teaser:

"O VAIN ILLUSION OF GLORY AND GRANDEUR"

It's worth noting, that this is in the outermost section of their radar, in the "Quite soon" section, so it could be a few months away yet.

It's really great to see more Linux ports pop up on their radar, after they've been a little quiet recently. We at least know they now have another two titles planned for Linux — exciting!

You can find the teaser on their port radar here. Any thoughts on what it might be?

I hoping for a native vulkan game... No more openGL, please.

In the meantime, there is activity in the SteamDB of Mad Max that suggest that Feral is still working on it.

Might be too obvious, but Bioshock Remastered confirmed? Looks way too much like Father Comstock to me.

"O VAIN ILLUSION OF GLORY AND GRANDEUR"... Sounds like we could be talking about Columbia/Rapture here.
When you consider that Bioshock and Bioshock Inifinite are tightly intertwined...

If it's not Bioshock remastered but ROTR, Feral guys are really cruel! :)

Maybe both games?! Lol!

This was my thought as well. I would be happy if it were Bioshock or Tomb Raider. Not wanting another RTS. If it is Bioshock I will buy F1 2016 since I already own Bioshock Remastered (got it since I've owned the original from way back). If it is an RTS I'll have to pass. I already bought 2 RTS I'm not really interested in just to support Feral.

I'm on the oposite side. Already got RoTR when I bought my GTX960... I would prefer Bioshock. :)

Edit: Still, since there's no Tux on RoTR, I haven't played it yet, so...

Has both MacOS and Linux listed, likely not Bioshock Remastered.

Aaargh! You're right! All is left is that it's both games then... :)

RotTR was published by Micro$oft and was even XBox exclusive at launch. Due to this I didn't think it would ever be ported to Linux, but if it is, then AWESOME. It's a good game. A worthy follow up to 2013 TR which was also a good game. Its just sad that a lot of good games has to be haunted by bad practises from big publishers with crap such as platform exclusivity, micro-transactions, in-game gambling, pre-order bonuses etc...

Square Enix published it on the various platforms other than Xbox. Also Nixxes did the porting work for non-Xbox platforms (and also the Xbox One X version). It was only a timed exclusive.

If it is Rise of Tomb Raider , it better be good on par about performance with Windows version

Fingers crossed for Rise of the Tomb Raider! Then I would finally have a good reason to invest into a new 1440p UWQHD monitor and a steam controller :)

Sounds like a BioShock to me

It is highly unlikely since Mac has them and this new teaser have both Mac and Linux icons.

I'm almost certain this is RotR. I feel so relieved I canceled my Humble Monthly Bundle subscription.

I cancel it on months the main game isn't a Linux title, then re-subscribe when it is.

So, two pages are filled an still nobody explained how this port can only be Skyrim. What's wrong with this thread!

I like your tact. Want something, guess it everytime, or atleast someone says skyrim everytime ^^. if you keep at it you will be right someday. My speculation, skyrim because. :D

Yeah the Mac Icon kinda throws Bioshock Remastered out. It could be Bioshock 2 remastered, Feral hasn't released that one for MAC yet.

I would like to play it in 3440x1440, but considering that TR barely managed, I fear I may have to upgrade my GPU first.

While I wouldn't mind if it were Tomb Raider, I think it goes against Feral's strategy. TR is in the humble monthly which quite some Linux (and Mac) gamers are subscribed to. So it would mean less sales for them. Assassin's Creed would make them more money I believe.

On top of my personal wishlist would be 'Life is Strange: Before the Storm' but I don't think it will get ported before all episodes are released. 'Middle-earth: Shadow of War' and 'Total War: Warhammer II' are certainly hot candidates for Feral as well.

Oh, COME ON! Microsoft loves Linux, they themselves said so! Ok, sarcasm off: we have at least one fantastic title on Linux that's published by MS: Dust: An Elysian Tail. Go play it if you haven't already!
