For those wanting Season 2, this will not be it. However, the developers have said to note down October 24th in your calendar.

As usual, they will be adding in new "Featured Contracts" on October 13th, but also Colorado is set to get a Challenge Pack as it was the only one not to get one so far.

Later in October, they will also add in 10 player-curated Featured Contracts. They work the same as the regular Featured Contracts, but a player will have curated the list to be added.

As for the possibly more exciting stuff, take a look at what they said:

Looking Ahead: Save The Date!

Mark this date on your calendars: October 24th. That’s the date when we will reveal brand new content for the game.

We’re going to let the announcement itself do all the talking, but there is one thing we want to clarify before then; this upcoming content is not “Season 2”. We’re saying that now to keep expectations in check.

So, save the date, let’s hope it doesn’t leak and we’ll see you there!

As a huge fan of HITMAN, I'm keen to see what they've got in store for us. I'm also hopeful they're still close with Feral Interactive (the Linux porter), so that we aren't left waiting around if it requires a patch.

See the update post on their official site here. You can find the Linux version of HITMAN on Steam, highly recommended.
