Good news sports fans! There's finally a little more information on what exactly will be included in Football Manager 2018 [Steam].

The developer has put up a little parody video of breaking news channels, to announce some of the features.

In this video, the developers say that the game will include big overhauls to the AI and new tactical options for the managers to use. With the match engine itself a new graphics engine should also make its way in. The scouting feature is also being completely re-done, so it's more in line with how real clubs actually find players.

"Dynamics" is another new feature that was also mentioned, but they're not talking about exactly what it is yet. They will be doing more videos soon to talk about more of the new features.

See their clever video below, at the end they include a short bit of actual gameplay:

You know? This developer has been criticised to the impossible but they are one of the first to have posted their games on Linux on day one.

They do it constantly and it seems overshadowed, it shouldn't.
They are a big company and they value a relatively small community like ours, which is rare for big companies (yes, EA, ACTIVISION, KONAMI, NAMCO, ECC... I am talking to you )

Good job!

If it wasn't for the fact it's a football game I'd be willing to buy it, but I just can't justify buying a game that I'm never going to play whatsoever. There's not enough money on the planet to convince me to own or play a football game, sorry developers.

Same.
Still kudos to the devs for supporting our platform.
