If you're excited about F1 2017 [Steam, Feral Store] coming to Linux with Vulkan here's a chance to get a glimpse of it before the release on Thursday.

On Wednesday, November 1st at 6PM UTC Feral Interactive will be livestreaming the game on Linux. This is your chance to see it on Linux for the first time ever! For those that miss it, we will have our own livestream of the game on the day of release.

Feral haven't released the system requirements yet, we will let you know as soon as they do.

See their Twitch channel here. I've added it to our livestream page, so you can keep track.

The hype train is running near full speed now... Doc, the red log is about to blow!!

By the way, this is a big feature - is this the first Feral port to have online play with Windows? :
"On Steam, race online against macOS, Linux and Windows players with a full grid of 20 cars, both current and classic."

no. Grid Autosport and Dirt Rally have that as well.

Hopefully RADV will be supported, although I feel if it is, it will be limited to mesa-git.

On ports from a yearly released game, and based on sports, I always wonder whether there are more base users for F1 than for basket or football... Would be great to see a NBA or FIFA/PES game on our platform to be honest.

Good for F1 fans anyway :)
