Another day another bundle eh? The Humble Care Package Bundle released recently and it does actually have a few good Linux games.

This bundle is a little different, as 100% of it goes to charity and Humble themselves will match $300K (the bundle has hit over $800K). The charities seem like a good pick too, all of them dedicated to helping with disaster relief.

Here's what's available in the bundle for Linux:

  • Starbound
  • Darkest Dungeon
  • Stardew Valley
  • Move or Die
  • DreadOut
  • Pony Island
  • Mighty No. 9
  • Shadowrun Returns
  • Machinarium Collector's Edition
  • No Time to Explain Remastered
  • Psychonauts

That's a pretty fine selection! It will set you back $30 (about £22.78), but that's pretty reasonable really. That's quite a few more games, but they aren't on Linux.

I'm pretty much only interested in Starbound from the bundle, as I already own many of the others. Also, the percentage of Linux games isn't "fantastic" either: 11 out of 27 = 40.7%

It is a pretty good bundle for people who don't buy many games or who are just starting to buy games.

It's also a pretty damn good deal for anyone who just wants a couple of games and would love to give to charity.

For a lot of gamers the juice probably isnt worth the squeeze.

For new gamers though its a great kickstart to a Linux Gaming Library.

Are all bundles redeem each key at a time now? I prefer to not even have windows games in my steam library.
