Aspyr Media has been around for a long time, so long they're doing a celebration sale on Steam and you can grab some awesome Linux games.

I know I already pointed out some choice games this week, but who doesn't love another sale?

Here's the best discounts:

The various DLC for each game is also on sale, so you could grab some missing Borderlands DLC for example or perhaps go for the Borderlands 2 Game of the Year bundle.

See all the games in the sale on Steam here (there's more!). Some titles like Layers of Fear are also on sale on GOG, you can find our Sales Page here to have a look at lots of Linux games on sale across different stores.

Really because i found them boring as fuck on my own, its just a sub par shooter with loot boxes (free and paid loot boxes) what it does have is humour in the case of BL2 the weird aussie humour in the pre sequel is perhaps the one to give a miss.

Tmho, Borderlands 2(/presequel) is probably the best FPS game on Linux : open world FPS with cool graphics, a great and crazy story with strong characters. The games are really varied : a tons of weapons, options, landscapes (ice, desert, space...), cars, weak gravity (pre sequel), great DLC, coop. Hundreds of hours of gameplay for...less than 10€!

I think we def disagree on this the best story fps games available native on linux are Metro 2033 redux and last light. BL2 has great comedy true terrible combat system though a head shot is the end unless its borderlands in which case you need another thousand head shots. The border lands pre sequel story is not bad but the Australian humor does not translate to here in the UK certainly in my case.
