For those who enjoy the classics, you might want to check out the latest release of ScummVM which adds support for more classic titles.

When it comes to the games, they've added support for 23 more titles like King's Quest VII, King's Questions, Leisure Suit Larry 6 (hi-res), Leisure Suit Larry 7, Riven: The Sequel to Myst and more. It's a rather impressive list, but of course the 2.0 release doesn't stop at adding support for more titles.

They said they've also improved existing games, more work has been done on the audio and video systems, improved joystick support and more.

See the news post here for the announcement and also the full release notes here.

Cool! I just bought "Phantasmagoria" on GOGs winter sale (it´s still on sale), I have wanted to replay that game again for some time, since ironically while it´s one of the latter Sierra adventure titles it´s probably the one I remember the least.

Thanks to ScummVM I was able to play classic Lucas games that for being too young, or lack of money at that time or whatever reason couldn't enjoy back in the day. Now also adds the possibility to play even more games. That's fantastic and probably never thanked the team enough! So in case any of them is reading this; thanks a lot!

This is great! I might finally make it all the way through King's Quest 7 now!

Does anybody use ScumVM on a mobile?
Tried it on my 5" phone, but didn't find the user interface very enjoyable...

I tried on my HTC Hero 8 years ago or so and yeah, the small screen and interface made it a bit difficult.

I hope ResidualVM gets some more love soon. Would be a great day when it supports more 3D Adventure games.

You mean it plays more than Grimm Fandango?

It already supports three games pretty well, and the engine for The Longest Journey is work in progress.

Never played the second one, but the first game was excellent! That and Gabriel Knight II were two of the best FMV games, along with the Tex Murphy series.
