For those who noticed Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III [Steam] was a bit broken on the NVIDIA 384 driver series, Feral has now fixed it.
After the most recent Linux patch, the Vulkan renderer in DOW III was pretty much entirely broken visually. Everything would flash and it was a bit of a mess. Thankfully it also has an OpenGL option (which I believe is the default), so it was at least still playable for those who encountered the issue.
As of today, Feral Interactive has released a patch that fully fixes the Vulkan renderer for DOW III on Linux. I've personally tested it and it's looking good again.
Now we can all go back to hoping there's a sizeable campaign expansion coming. I do enjoy the game, but I want more of it and a big campaign expansion that adds in more missions and more races is something it needs.

You are an Ork based on your pic :D
I've never heard that Orks were shy about killing one another. :D
Indeed, in fact I believe it's a common pass-time when boredom comes about. A horde of Goblins would happily join in too :D

Quoting: liamdaweSo yes, it is brocken! Missing feature. A bug.Quoting: VurdaanMatchmaking is broken on this game, we can't play versus windows players....It's not broken, that's just how it is. A few ports from Feral (and other developers) have per-platform online play. Sometimes Mac and Linux can play together, but not with Windows.
I used to remind Feral and the community in every single article about this fact in the past. They're not willing to fix that and claim they can't. Getting in touch with the original developer to find a solution seems not in their range of possibilities. I was texting them and Relic as well but nothing happened. They seem not to be interested in more sales and money for everyone. Apart from Single Player, this game is dead under Linux unfortunately. :'/
Feral have stated before their reasons. I agree it's not great, but I would still rather have it with limited multiplayer than not have it at all.
