PayPalFeral Interactive, the absolute monster when it comes to big Linux game ports is asking what you want to see again.
You all know Feral by now, they've ported HITMAN, F1 2017, Mad Max, Dawn of War III, Life is Strange, XCOM, XCOM 2, DiRT Rally and many more seriously good games to Linux. On top of that, they still have an existing teaser up that they haven't yet announced, all we know is that it's coming to Linux.
On Twitter, they asked this recently:
It’s a New Year full of new possibilities! If you could only have one new game for macOS, Linux or mobile in 2018, which one would it be? And why? We can’t promise that your dreams will come true, but the best answers will star in our email newsletter.
Naturally, Feral lurk in our comments, so feel free to post here as well as I'm sure they will be taking note.
For me personally, I would like a new open-world game that I can travel around and sink plenty of hours into. Something to allow time to fade away and forget about all lifes problems.
So—what do you want Feral to bring to Linux next?

I would love to see DCS World on Linux. Ot is *the* combat flight simulator. I have quite a few modules I miss playing now that I'm Linux-only.

Ok so let's rephrase this. How many Windows exclusive games that we want on Linux are DRM free. I personally don't know of any but maybe I'm in the minority.I'm not sure that's in their hands. Just don't expect any company to listen if you say that a game can't run under wine and they should fix it.
In my experience, Wine developers can pick up such bug and fix it eventually, and anyone can contribute to the project with patches as well. So on one hand you have commercial wrapper with official support for a given time period, and you have a FOSS translation framework that isn't specifically focused on one title, but can as well support it eventually too. Personally, I simply like FOSS idea more, but I surely appreciate focused support.

I suppose a lot? I only play DRM-free games, and there are quite a few I'd like to see ported to Linux. It's not like it isn't already happening, quite a number of good games come out for Linux DRM-free, but I'm talking about Feral in particular. They didn't participate in any of them unlike other porters. Which is unlikely a coincidence, and more likely reflects Feral's attitude towards this topic.

NieR:Automata because it is a high quality game with some original ideas unlike most run-of-the-mill AAA games these days.
Endless Space 2 because I like good 4x games and this one is actually pretty :D (same is true for Endless Legend by the way)
Elex We are sadly missing a Gothic 1/Risen 1 style game on Linux so far

Well, the wishlist is of course always long, but there is of course a limit to games I would actually end up buying. Right now my short list is:
Rise of the Tomb Raider - The first game is fantastic and the sequel is supposedly fantastic as well
Life is Strange: Before the Storm - I was really pleased with this game and want more!!!
Middle Earth: Shadow of War - While I am upset about the microtransactions there is apparently a way around them in single player and the underlying game is still good (although compromised). Also there is some questionable story choices, but as a ridiculous fan fic with fun orc slaying I'm down for it.
Also other things like Hitman Season 2 if that happens, and I'd love to see an update for Hitman and Mankind Divided with Vulkan.

I'd definitely love to see Fallout 4 or Skyrim special edition come to Linux, so hopefully, Bethesda is open to it. Though it seems like with some workarounds FO4 seems to work good and Skyrim Special Edition seems to be making great progress with WINE (other than texture issues and slow performance it seems to work fine). We really need a TES game on Linux.

Yay for Mount and Blade II also :) I loved Mount and Blade Warband, but the Linux version is buggy. I haven't managed to find an answer to my unexpected and continuous crashes on any forum :(

I don't really do big ticket social media at all, so I'll just leave this here on that off chance Feral do actually read all these.
1a} Pie in the Sky Optimism: Either Fallout 4 or Skyrim SE, if Zenimax/Bethesda could be convinced to get on board. Much as I want these for me (I need to install Wine 3 and see how well my massive mod list can be made to work for Skyrim now), I really just want them to exist on Linux natively more because the underlying engine is likely going to remain the core of both franchises, with some updating, for a long time to come as it has now for near two decades and having a known working codebase to work from is going to make releasing future installments to our platform all that much more likely.
1b} Cynical Realism: Any halfway comparable yet under performing open world RPG on which the Linux community could dog pile and visibly push to more significant numbers just from our interest in having more such titles.
2a} Pie in the Sky Optimism: Any significant and relatively recent Blizzard game. Last I browsed their forums (a few years back) they persisted to insist that there wasn't enough market share for Linux nor enough interest from the Linux gaming community to make porting any of their games worth the costs, including in response to people asking for Hearthstone which is, to my understanding, built on bloody Unity.
2b} Moderately Realistic by Comparison: Magic: The Gathering Arena which is in closed beta now. I've been unable to find out whether they intend to push a Linux native version, but historically Magic Digital Studio has been at least as dismissive as Activision/Blizzard when it comes to Linux releases. I don't really care about Hearthstone and would still like Starcraft 2, Diablo 3, et al or a really suitable replacement but MTG Arena has me drooling as something that seems to be a merger between the Duels of the Planeswalkers games and MTGO and likely to be their future online format going forward.
3} Pie in the Sky Optimism: Any of the Final Fantasy games that have been ported to Windows. Personally I want the chance to repurchase and natively play any of FF1 through FF6 again and relive some of my childhood/teen years putting dozens to hundreds of hours into each of these. Realistically, much as I dislike the game myself, I know that FF7 is the one that has the best chance to draw enough interest to push more installments of the franchise onto Linux with all the updates. There is no realistic alternative here unfortunately.
