10tons Ltd (Crimsonland and Neon Chrome) certainly love their top-down shooters, they love them so much they're doing another one. Tesla vs Lovecraft [Steam] is their next title and it releases with Linux support on the 26th.

You are Nikola Tesla, the world-famous inventor and your lab has been burned down by the horror author H.P. Lovecraft, who claims that your actions have put the world in peril. Like the sound of twin-mounted Tesla-Miniguns? You will have access to a Tesla-Mech to really tear those monsters apart.

Sound amusing? Check out the trailer:

Their shooters are always quite good and this looks like it could be a real blast. Hopefully we will be able to check it out when it releases in a few days. You can find it on Steam on January 26th.

It's so weird to think that Lovecraft died in poverty after a really shitty life and nowdays we just can't see enough of him in the pop culture...
