Another day, another big sale is going on. Today is the turn of Valve as they're doing a big Lunar New Year sale. Valve have also revamped Steam's Wishlist feature.

I decided to pick ten games I think people should pick up for various reasons. It's extremely difficult to condense so many awesome Linux games, but my varied choices here I think are a good set for people to look into (if you still haven't!).

  • Tomb Raider - 85% off, Since Rise of the Tomb Raider is officially coming to Linux, getting this played through is a good idea (the price is also ridiculous!).
  • Insurgency - 85% off, It's a solid tactical FPS and if plenty of Linux users buy it, hopefully they will continue to stay committed to getting Insurgency: Sandstorm on Linux.
  • Victor Vran - 75% off, a pretty damn good action RPG. Tons of content and tons of loot! It's also from the studio developing Surviving Mars, which releases with Linux support next month.
  • XCOM 2 - 67% off or XCOM 2 Collection (including the excellent WotC expansion) - 50% off.
  • Dying Light - 60% off or Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition - 67% off.
  • Stellaris - 60% off, with the huge expansion due soon it's a fab time to grab it.
  • Oxygen Not Included - 40% off, probably one of the most engrossing space-colony simulation games I've ever played. Klei have a great history of Linux support too.
  • Overfall - 40% off, not one I've mentioned for a while, but it's a solid RPG with turn-based battles where you travel across the sea and visit various islands.
  • Rusted Warfare - 40% off, I could write paragraphs about my love for this 2D RTS. It brings back so many good memories of Total Annihilation and the recent Steam Workshop update, plus all the other updates makes it really damn fun.
  • Streets of Rogue - 33% off, we had far too much fun during livestreams with this one, absolute madness!

Be sure to share games you feel people absolutely cannot miss in the comments, why don't you pick your top five games that maybe aren't too well known, but you love them? Will be interesting to see what you come up with.

As for the Steam Wishlist, Valve put up a blog post here announcing the changes resulting in a total revamp of the Wishlist system and it's tons better. You can filter per platform, filter out certain titles like Early Access to only see them when they're done and so on. Good stuff from Valve, was long overdue. Now Valve, about the Steam Library and how it's really needing a revamp…

Ps. You can see Linux sales on our Sales Page, which updates constantly.

Quoting: GuestCalling the humanity stupid and not starting with yourself is very elitist. I feel like a lot of people keep blaming humanity for problems created by capitalism.
Let me just say that I have sympathy for your view, but this probably isn't the place for that discussion.

Agreed upon. In particular, I'd like to see filtering by tags/features as well as being able to list games in a random order.

You have seen that this has just been implemented? :D

Can I suggest, if you can, to not buy Tomb Raider because the price of 3€ is ridiculous? I know that it sounds weird but I bought it some time ago for 4.99€ from steam and I regret to have not bought it from Feral for a little more, I liked it.
The game is nice, for what I saw I think more than the coming Rise that I think I'll buy on sale anyway, and I think so it is the port, it runs very well on the open driver, thing that I think is amazing :) I had the same problem also with Shadow of Mordor - Middle Earth, so I think in this sale I'll buy Mad Max for a little more, 6.79€.
Does anyone know if it is possible to make a little donation to Feral, I mean paypal tip or similar?

If you don't have 'em all, I guess buying another game or maybe some DLC at their store would do the trick.

Quoting: Eike*edit* I found something not too obvious: There's a rank number at the lower left of every item - and you can just change it!
Oh neat, thanks for sharing that. Though it seems slightly buggy for me, I bought my #2 item War of the Chosen on sale yesterday and now my wishlist goes 1, 3, 4,… :)

Quoting: riusmaI don't have any hamburger with arrows (just "TOP" at the top left and the "rank order box" at the bottom left)... :'(

Nevermind, I will take another look at that later! :)

This is what it looks like here:

Thanks for the image, I definitely don't have that little hamburger icon showing up for me either.

Not the same thing but thank you. For the present/future I think that I'll buy more games when the price is, for me, just good enough/"right", for the past what is done is done, maybe I'll buy a cheap copy of TR as a present to a friend that does't want to buy it, I don't like the DLC.

Quoting: KallestofelesOh no, with the wishlist revamp, they also removed old games from it which were no longer available on Steam... used to have Divinity 2: Ego Draconis saga there as a reminder... well, it's all just in my head now. :D
Dammit, you're right! I had Barbie Dreamhouse Party in my wishlist as a cool separator that cannot be bought or gifted, and now it's gone. :'(

At least I don't actually need a wishlist separator for Linux/non-linux games anymore since the supported platforms are displayed clearly for every game as well as filtering is in place.
Philadelphus Feb 19, 2018
I wonder if the new filtering-by-OS ability and showing the supported platforms clearly on the wishlist is another careful bump towards a future SteamOS push.

Thanks for the discovery of Street of Rogue. Very fun and simple. It would be funnier is, as in Everspace, character can be improved with static features after each run (I think I don't like "rogue" style out of FPS like Unreal Tournament, I expect that past games help to go further in the next played runs).
