Another sci-fi adventure game has been released with Linux support, this time it's the hardcore 'Far Out' [Steam, Official Site] with a dynamically changing futuristic environment.

About the game:
Far-Out is a hardcore first-person adventure game, made with old-school quests such as Space Quest, The Dig, Full Throttle etc. in mind. Follow the lone survivor of the Selene’s crew, researcher Zack Paterson. Find out what happened to the ship, the crew, and how to survive.
Compared to many sci-fi adventures, Far Out apparently gives you a decent amount of freedom with gameplay that changes each time along with different endings.
It looks good, but sadly the developer hasn't responded to our calls for a review key. We've had a key request in since January, so it doesn't look like we're getting one. Shame too, as it's certainly a setting I would probably enjoy. Feel free to share any thoughts in the comments if you pick it up.

Pretty sure it's just "hardcore sci-fi". From what I can tell, there's nothing particularly hardcore about the gameplay itself.

Interesting, I thought it meant the it has real puzzles like Thimbleweed Park compared to a walking simulator. But hopefully will find the time soon to find out myself. =)

Yes, I think that I will wait a week or two for some patching before buying it... the bugs seem to be what is the most "hardcore" in that game for the moment. ^_^

Except for the poor voice acting, the problems you describe seem to be caused by immature code which will get better with patches. And the game is being heavily patched now, so just have some patience.
Allready refunded for now. Will see if it gets better later and then probably grabbing it when its on 50% sale or something.
Not really good first impressions. Its not a early access title and i waited 2 days to give time for devs to iron out the issues.
