A rather exciting update to Rocket League [Steam] is on the way, giving you the ability to run your own tournaments.

It sounds like they've put some real thought into it to, giving you the ability to customize them quite a bit. You can change the game mode, the arena, restrict to a certain rank, add mutators and plenty more options.

In addition to this, they will also be adding:

  • Additional ways to sort, filter, and organize your item inventory
  • Equipping specific Painted Car Bodies to Orange and Blue
  • Restrict chat to Team Quick Chat Only
  • In-game Connection Quality Status indicators

GOL tournament coming up?


EDIT: By that I mean something long-running like the Dirt Rally league. Would be fun to do a few casual matches weekly or maybe bi-weekly.

Of course people with actual skills might want to do a proper, less casual league every once in a while.
