For those itching to see Rise of the Tomb Raider live on Linux before release, next week Feral Interactive will be showing it off.
It will be on April 10th at 5PM UTC on their official Twitch Channel. Here's a handy timer to help you:
We've also added it to our Livestream Calendar for you to keep an eye on, as I reminder anyone can submit their own streams to that page.
They also said on reddit, that this month they are aiming to announce a release date and the system requirements that will be needed to play it.
We should have a review of it on the day of release if all goes well, we will also likely do a livestream on the day of release. It's really exciting to have another huge game come to Linux, will you be buying it when it releases for Linux?
I wonder if it supports VR? I want to buy either a Samsung Odyssey or a HTC Vive Pro foremost for X-Plane. Later on Alien Isolation etc. should be huge fun also in VR.
While I don't have lots of games, I'll get this one.
Does VR works for X-Plane on Linux?
Does VR works for X-Plane on Linux?
Apologies for feeding this Off Topic but a quick googling suggest it should not yet.

Link is from February 2018.
And an older link with additional info:

:)
yeah, I did a search and found that first link, though wasn't sure if this was the latest status of affairs ;).
Not yet, they told to support Steamvr also on Linux, once they've moved to Vulkan later this year. That's also the reason I didn't yet buy a VR headset.
Thanks!
I got the following answer:
If you're wondering who to request GOG releases etc. from, you can certainly put your requests to us and we'll listen. However, GOG isn't viable for us at the moment.

I wonder what they mean by "not viable"?

I guess that is because GOG's userbase is small...
We know that, according to SteamSpy, the steam user base is about 290.000.000.... meanwhile the GOG user base is unknown bacause CDProjekt refuses to release that info...
Or maybe is because Feral ( like most publishers) just don't like the idea of gamers owning the games they legally bought..
