GOG have more goodies available for Linux gamers. We have the classic detective adventure title The Dame Was Loaded along with side-scrolling platformer Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight.
As usual, GOG sent us a copy of both to check them out and I've not encountered any notable issues.
The Dame Was Loaded
More about The Dame Was Loaded:
An adventure set in the world of a 1940's private eye. Dames are trouble, but trouble is your business. For a dame, and maybe a hundred bucks in advance, you'd lose a few teeth and a few friends. For sweet Carol Klein, you might even stand in front of a gun or two. In a sleazy world of corrupt officials, stolen diamonds, lust and murder, you must solve the case and stay alive.
The Linux version uses DOSBox, since the game was originally released way back in 1996. As expected, the GOG version is bundled with DOSBox all configured for you.
Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight
More about Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight:
Reverie Under the Moonlight is the fourth entry in the Momodora series, a side-scrolling platformer focused on action gameplay, with melee combos, dodge mechanics and a plethora of items and spells to unleash upon your enemies. Play casually for the rich setting and mysterious story or crank up the difficulty to run your reflexes through a truly brutal gauntlet.
As it's a 32bit build, be sure you have these dependencies installed:
libc6:i386 libasound2:i386 libasound2-data:i386 libasound2-plugins:i386 libcurl3:i386 libgtk2.0-0:i386 libopenal1:i386 libglu1:i386 and dependencies.
It's a very popular game too and for good reasons, there's a lot to like about it. I completely lost track of time when testing it out!
