PayPalCroteam is finally starting to give out some basic details on their next game, now called Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass.
Details are obviously light, but we finally have the official name along with this teaser:

When I said basic details, I really did mean it. This is literally all they've shown.
Given their history with Linux support, I've no doubt it will be on Linux and it will likely be using their newer Fusion engine with Vulkan support. It does list "SteamOS + Linux" in the system requirements section, but it's obviously not filled out yet. Checking SteamDB quickly, it does show that Linux is in the "oslist" which was added recently—a reasonably good sign.
There's also now a Steam page ready for it.

An inussualy frank trailer. The whole game you are going to find is like from the second 0:41 to the end.

Awesome. Croteam are currently on my "buy everything they release" list due to their excellent Linux support. I can also highly recommend The Talos Principle, it's magnificent, and not the kind of game you'd expect from the creators of Serious Sam.

You could call it the opposite of Serious Sam in several respects. :)

That's a nice idea, but with my two baby girls (10 months now), I have so little time to play anthing at all... :)

TWO? So, twins? That's quite the load, I can imagine. :D I got two girls myself, but 3 and 6 years old.
