Even though the trailer says Windows 10 at the end, it will have Linux support.
About the game:
During an archeological excavation – a set of Gates were discovered. People quickly realized that these ancient passages lead to different realms and dimensions. Rynoka, a small commercial village, was found near the excavation site – providing brave and reckless adventurers with treasures beyond measure.
Moonlighter is an Action RPG with rogue-lite elements that demonstrates two sides of the coin – revealing everyday routines of Will, an adventurous shopkeeper that secretly dreams of becoming a hero.
Looks absolutely gorgeous, love the art and animations! The developers say it will be on GOG, Humble Store and Steam.
QuoteQ: Can I expect it on PC, consoles or what?
A: It’s going to be available for Xbox One, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Mac & Linux.

Speaking of wishes, I wish I knew how much it was going to cost. If it was $20, I just might buy it on release day!
Wouldn't want my employer to think I'm moonlighting.

Ahem...
One thing bothers me about this, though.
There has been such a crazy number of 2D action RPGs like this in the last months, it really feels like this specific niche is completely oversaturated.
And yet they keep on coming!

It's published by 11bit studios (This War of Mine and the upcoming Frostpunk), who seem very Linux-friendly, nice to see some companies view us favourably.

I for one can't think of that many good 2D ARPGs on or coming to Linux.
Quoting: tuubiWell, with any wave of a genre, you have the good ones and the bad ones.Quoting: TheSHEEEPThere has been such a crazy number of 2D action RPGs like this in the last months, it really feels like this specific niche is completely oversaturated.Maybe it feels like that to someone who's not fond of the genre? Just look at the current Battle Royale stuff ;)
The problem is that even the bad ones add to the saturation.
Please, don't tell me we call deathmatch a genre. :'(
What has happened to this world. :S:
