Love your strategy games? You can pick up a few that support Linux in the latest Humble Strategy Bundle (affiliate link). I will only note the games that support Linux, as there's a bunch that don't.
For $1 you will get Planetary Annihilation: TITANS and some Company of Heroes 2 DLC designed for the WDC charity.
If you pay more than the average you will get Empire: Total War Collection, which was ported to Linux by Feral Interactive and also 66% off Total War: WARHAMMER which was also ported to Linux by Feral Interactive.
For the final tier of $12, you will get the rather great simple RTS Tooth and Tail, one game I'm quite a big fan of. It's very much a strategy game for those who don't have a lot of time, so it appeals to a wider set of gamers and it's quite challenging.
While there's not a lot in the bundle for Linux, the games that are there are pretty good. You've got ~13 days to grab a copy, so plenty of time to decide what you wish to do.

I remember a few years ago they run a poll on their website asking whether users wanted GNU/L support or two other alternatives (I don't remember what they were). Trick was, only current certified users could vote. And guess what os was running an average user of a Doze-only game...? It reminded me of Pilate asking to choose between Jesus and Barabbas eheh.

Quoting: TeodosioI would buy it if it weren't for all the Endless games included. Amplitude (the developer) made a point not to support GNU/Linux.
In case of bundles that's not really a reason. You can explicitly deny them any money by customising the distribution. I always zero the non-Linux games when I buy bundles.

You are right and I had indeed forgotten that.
It is not just a question of money however, that is going to be little for a bundle anyway. I am more concerned with userbase. Even if I pay zero, for them it will still count as additional Steam keys sold, and they can use that figure to market their game. I am not inclined to offer them that '+1'.
EDIT: by so doing I may lose the chance of getting nice games for cheap (e.g. TITANS looks good), but I have so many games already on my Steam account, way more than my available time to play them.

Quoting: PatolaSame here...Quoting: EhvisI didn't know you could do that. How? I googled for "humble bundle customizing" but doesn't seem to be what you're referring to.Quoting: TeodosioI would buy it if it weren't for all the Endless games included. I know you can change the amount paid to devs, but not individual devs. I would only pay the linux devs if possible,
Ok, I just looked, and now you can do this... there is an arrow in front of the developers now that allows you to give them separate amounts. Unfortunately, it is too late on this bundle... I picked it up already... $12 for Tooth and Tail (which is a $20(US) game) was too good to pass up in my mind. However, I will start only paying linux devs in any future bundle. After all, I only play the linux games.
Quoting: g000hGrabbed the full Humble Strategy Bundle, mainly for Tooth and Tail, and less so for the other Linux titles. Adjusted the developer share so that the Linux supporting devs (particularly T and T) receive the larger portion.
Be sure to check in at the TnT discord, people are really friendly, and if you want a practise partner in the beginning, that's where to look. I usually play in the evenings 21-23 GMT+1, and I am pretty crap, PM if you want a game! This message applies to anyone, not just g000h.
