Depth of Extinction [itch.io] is a retro-inspired turn-based tactics game, it's a little like XCOM with some rogue-lite features thrown in and it's getting better all the time.
The latest release with build 40 has added in quite a lot in terms of mission content. There's new facility interior layouts, which the developer says are more closed and complex. They've also split rooms up with doors you actually need to open, so you don't get to see into each room as soon as you're near it, creating a little more tension. They've also added in new facility types to explore including Farms, Reactors and Hospitals.
It’s a Trap! No really, this updated scenario will see your team start deep within a facility and it's your job to get them out safely. This mission type adds a rather interesting dynamic to the game, since it's completely different in how it feels with you needing to escape rather than infiltrate a facility.
They also fixed a rather annoying bug where turns seemed to be a bit delayed as well, so that's awesome.
Finally, they've started the final round of First Access, the itch.io program where they sell only limited copies while it's in development. There's 60 keys left as of writing this, so be quick if you want to play with it.
Not familiar with it? Here's a slightly older trailer which still gives you a good idea:

I've been incredibly impressed with this one and I can already safely recommend it. I've had a lot of fun with it! If itch.io isn't your thing, it's coming to Steam too later this year.
