Deep breaths commander, there's a new UFO sighting on the Feral Interactive port radar indicating a new Linux port is on the way.

Here's the new teaser:

Begin your wild guessing game. I literally don't have a clue, but then I never manage to guess them correctly. Although, honestly I try not to dig too far as when I do I end up thinking about all sorts of wild titles.

We've still got Life is Strange: Before the Storm and Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia yet to come from Feral, so another showing up is quite exciting news. They've ported so many top quality games to Linux now, it's really quite incredible and it's pleasing to see this continue!

Agony looks like it's written by a 12 years old trying to be edgy

Quoting: OrkultusPlease dont be another strategy game!
While I personally see the appeal of Total War and many other strategy games (as a big strategy game fan myself) I also do hope it's something different :)

Either a good action game (FPS or open-world of some sort) or RPG please Feral!

Quoting: GuestCan it be Vampyr, the new game from Dontnod? Though Focus Home have never worked with Feral before...

This was is my best guess. Or is it my hopeful thought?

It's Shadow of the Tomb Raider - just totally random guess :)

Could well be, since Feral has worked with the developer before.

I have no clue but it makes me think of Darksiders II... Maybe?

Lucifer, so ...Devil May Cry! Gotta be it! And that's pretty much my only evidence :P

A game about hell? Must be Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit.

Is "Warhammer end times: Vermintide" a good candicate?... https://store.steampowered.com/app/235540/Warhammer_End_Times__Vermintide/ ... I haven't played any of the Warhammer games, so I know NOTHING about it's universe whatsoever, but somehow this game came to mind when I read the "hellish" theme.

Can anyone find the name and origin of the painting? It's surprisingly difficult.

I'll update this comment with findings if I, well, find any :P

Edit: Came back to say I found it, but the person below v beat me to the punch; well done, you :B

Edit 2:

So here's the lines from the (slightly modernized) poem:
the rest were all
Far to the inland retired, about the walls
Of Pandemonium; city and proud seat
Of Lucifer, so by allusion called
Of that bright star to Satan paragoned;

An annotation pointed out that calling it the "seat of Lucifer" is significant since Lucifer refers to Satan before his fall. Nothing jumps out at me yet though.

Edit 3: Sorry about edit 1, meant to say Dr. person :P

I have no Idea what that means.
Native port of DOOM?

Please?
wvstolzing May 31, 2018
The painting in the hint is "Pandemonium" by John Martin; it's a scene from Paradise Lost, which the quote also points towards.

I can't think of what this might be a hint towards. There's an early access game with the title "Angels Fall First". [link to steam page]

Other than that, I don't think it's Doom 2016. Doom 2016's Hell is a parallel dimension that doesn't contain much by way of Christian imagery. I mean, the original Dooms had a little bit of it; but I don't remember seeing any inverted crosses or the like in Doom 2016.

Quoting: KelsPsst...look up Paradise Lost...might be something there.

You mean this : https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1183462809/paradise-lost-first-contact ?

Well let's get one game out of the way: Skyrim. Bethesda is still busy porting it to toasters and fridges as well as smart watches, and pip boys

It won't be Fallout 76, because it's a known fact that Linux is for Commies, Chinese and Koreans.

I'd go with the suggestions above, probably the game will be Agony.

In all seriousness I'd love it if it was an elder Scrolls, or the Witcher 3. But as I game only on Linux and am not keen on using wine I guess I'll miss out.

If it is the Witcher 3 or fallout, I'll drink a bottle of Tabasco.

No idea...
Since we are talking about the radar, does anyone has an idea what the Mac only game ("Save poor Bob if you please") could be?)
