Deep breaths commander, there's a new UFO sighting on the Feral Interactive port radar indicating a new Linux port is on the way.

Here's the new teaser:

Begin your wild guessing game. I literally don't have a clue, but then I never manage to guess them correctly. Although, honestly I try not to dig too far as when I do I end up thinking about all sorts of wild titles.

We've still got Life is Strange: Before the Storm and Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia yet to come from Feral, so another showing up is quite exciting news. They've ported so many top quality games to Linux now, it's really quite incredible and it's pleasing to see this continue!

Life is Strange 2 is being developed, episode 1 is due September 27th. no idea when/if it'll appear on Linux but chances are good going on past experience. :D

Back when the original came out, I asked if it was coming to Linux and got a reply directly from the developer. They said probably not due to a middleware issue (which fortunately got sorted out in the end) but for following games they'd definitely be paying more attention to that.

So if they still think that way therre's a very good chance we'll get it.

Sounds interesting. I must remind myself from time to time that Feral is only second best, coming after a multiplatform release of the original developer.

So far Paradox has been the best at this pretty consistently. Kalypso is probably second, but they haven't done a release of Urban Empire yet.

Guess we could add Beamdog to that, though I think some of their previous ports haven't been day 1. Neverwinter Nights already had a Linux version, so not sure how much credit we can give them there.

Oh, also Inexile desrves credit as well! Their last few games have all been ported and they even fixed up Bard's tale to work, seemingly for everyone. I should finally play through the original...
