I hope you like Anime & Manga styled games, as GOG just added 10 with Linux support

Higurashi is a classic, it made enough sucess to become an anime (and one of my favorites)

i dont know if any of those games have ecchi, but if valve keeps their policy on censorship, i highly recomend to purchase those games on gog

Finally! There was some demand for VNs for long time, but GOG was kinda uncomfortable with this stuff. I hope they will see results of this experiment positive, so we will have good place to get VNs without bothering with steam

Never thought I would see these on GOG. I'm down to spend some money next pay cheque to support it. I had been holding out buying them on Steam hoping for a Itch.io release but any DRM free options is good for me.

Connect would be nice for these - I have both Fault games on Steam.

So , i'm not a VN gamer guy but i tried that free one ( Sunrider ) to see how it is sexual by Valve means.

So far , there is 0 sexual drawings etc. What was the deal then?

The free version probably doesn't have anything. the other 2 have 18+ patches you can download from the official site.

Just to be clear, the patches are also free. I personally really quite like Sunrider; the battle tactics are surprisingly interesting (considering I really don't think the engine is meant for that kind of thing). It's the kind of game where you can see what seems to you the obvious way to do things and then find on internet chatter that other people are successfully doing it quite differently.

Well, some don't let you make any choices, or meaningful ones. And others have more gameplay elements than just dialog options. It's kind of a fluid game genre.

The first two Sunrider titles qualify as games.

As has been mentioned, the Sunrider ones ("Mask of Arcadius" and "Liberation Day" ) are games. There is a sort of visual-novel-like thing happening that strings stuff together, but most of your time is in quite difficult turn-based space battles, and you control a squadron of ships which you get to upgrade in quite varied ways.

Well, i kind of understand why there is no Connect right now - GOG wants to benchmark public demand for such games. With Connect enabled there will be huuuge transfers on gog, but actual sales? Yet, i dont think connect will be impossible in future.
