No flapping birds to be found here, as the single-button musical game Odium To the Core [Steam] oozes style and it certainly can be challenging.

Released at the end of last week with Linux support, this simple game from developer Dark-1 is actually quite good. While the gameplay is quite simple, with you needing to guide "Odium" through side-scrolling levels by keeping your momentum going with a single button, the thumping drum & bass music along with the mix monochromatic style along with colourful backdrops actually creates a pretty good atmosphere.

I really liked that each level had a different colour scheme and music track, kept the experience quite fresh. Even better, is that some elements of the levels move with the music, it was rather well done.
For a casual one-button game, it's pretty damn good. Priced at an equally casual £2.49, you can find Odium To the Core on Steam.

First I had to make sure my installed version of libudev.so was linked to libudev.so.0 near /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/
Now I can only run the x86 executable from the games' install folder, not the x86_64 or from the normal pressing "play" within steam. It means the Options menu doesn't work, nor do the leaderboards and so on.
