Really like seeing more games do this! Survivors of Borridor [Steam, Official Site], a fast-paced couch co-op survival game where even a smartphone can be used to control a character.

It wasn't announced on their Steam store page in the news section, but this Early Access title recently added Linux support too! The developer did note the release in their forum, where they said this:

Linux available now!

-Intro is skipped for now ( probably need different codec there for Linux)
-Mouselock seems incorrect on newer Ubuntu distro's, but mobile controller works fine!

Features:

  • Fast paced topdown action
  • 3 playable characters
  • Craftable items
  • 1 up to 8 players local co-op
  • Join the game using smartphones as controllers connected to local Wifi
  • Join using mouse, keyboard or physical controller
  • Waves of aggressive enemies
  • Lots of gibs

Could be worth a look for those of you who enjoy a good local co-op session.
