For those that are interested, you can secure a copy of two great Linux games in the current Humble Monthly Bundle.
Just added today are:
- Get Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!!
- Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth
Subbing to the Humble Monthly will give you instant access to a Steam key for each of them (Cook, Serve 2 also has a DRM free build), along with access to the Humble Trove which has a number of Linux games (I counted around 30) available DRM free too.
The first early unlock, which was Destiny 2 is not on Linux. Even so, with those two Linux games plus access to the Humble Trove, for $12 (which you can cancel any time) that's actually not a bad deal at all. I'm a big fan of Pillars and Cook, Serve.
Go check out the bundle here.

I like cook serve delicious 2 better than the first one, but I already got it before this monthly so I'll skip this one too.

I have no interest in Destiny 2, so I'd already paused my monthly. Time to go unpause...

I had paused mine already this month thanks to Destiny 2.
I'm really not interested in Cook, Serve, Delicious... but maybe Pillars of Earth is worth it.
HOWEVER, it is too late to unpause and get this monthly. Today is the auto-payment date.

So if you want the two linux games, you must pay separately for this month if you paused it already.

QuoteIf you paused and successfully skipped the current monthly, but change your mind you now need to manually purchase the monthly through the checkout page! Please do this before that monthly is released on the first Friday of the month.

Yeah, I paused mine because of Destiny 2.
I am not a fan of point and click games, but Pillars of the Earth does seem tempting. Did anybody try it already? Would you recommend it to someone that did not enjoy The Book of Unwritten Tales, like at all?

For me Humble is just another charity I support, like Oxfam. Only unlike Oxfam I get video games for supporting, when I can be bothered to redeem them.

As mentioned on GOL before (with lots of nuggets of information) I subcribed to the Yearly Subscription (which is a great way to get 12 individual monthly credits). I regularly pause and unpause the Monthly Bundle to suit my tastes. Usually pause just before payment goes through (close to end of the month) if they don't offer enough Linux games.
I was pausing this month, due to the main title being Destiny 2 which isn't on Linux. I already own Ken Follett's Pillars game, and not too bothered about Cook Serve Delicious 2 (I own the first in the series, and not played that yet). So, no need for me to unpause this month.
Also, there's only another 6 days before the new bundle comes out and looking forward to hearing what that has for the Early Reveal.
