Super Galaxy Squadron EX Turbo is probably one of the most insane shoot 'em ups I've ever played and it's now on Linux.
They announced a call for testers only a day ago which was an opt-in beta, but they've already pushed the Linux version out officially. I had a chance to try it after speaking to the publisher who joined our Discord to have a little chat about it.
Note: It will need some 32bit libs installed (list here), however they're porting it to GameMaker Studio 2 so hopefully it will be 64bit in future.

As I have made a category "Windows-only bullcrap" on my Steam account and put all windows games in it, it's always a pleasant surprise when a game from this category shows up when I'm filtering on Linux games. This game did that yesterday, so naturally I installed it.
However, on the store page it still showed only the windows logo, and when I tried to run it, it said "Missing executable" or something like that. It might very well be that I'm just missing some 32 bit libraries

Missing executable is nothing to do with missing libs, it's exactly as the message suggests, it's missing the executable (the thing that you know, runs it).

Looks interesting. It reminds me of Super Star Path, an amazing game too. It seems a nice add to the Linux shmups.:D

The only method I've heard of is as described by Suppen - create a "Win-only" category, put all those games in it, and if that category starts showing when you are filtering to Linux games, then surprise! You have a new playable game.
