For those looking for some extra games to pass the time during the hot summer months, the new Humble Monthly once again has some Linux offerings.
With the early unlocks, you will be able to get access to The Escapists 2 right away (along with two games that aren't on Linux).
On top of that, you also get access to the Humble Trove, which has a ton of DRM free games you can download and keep. They've just boosted the games included once again, to include Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs in addition to 30+ other Linux titles.
For $12, it's worth it even just for the titles in the Trove collection and you're able to cancel any time you wish.
Take a look at the Humble Monthly if you're interested.

Well, good that The Escapists 2 is for Linux. Shame that Conan Exiles isn't because I really fancy that game myself.
Getting back to the previous (July) bundle, I like to check what I missed out on, when I didn't take it.
- Hearts of Iron IV - for Linux, great - but it isn't really the sort of game I like, so I didn't get this Monthly
- Blackwake and Portal Knights - the other two early unlocks - Windows only, so not appealing to me as a Linux gamer
- Serial Cleaner - for Linux, great - but I own it already, so no big deal
- Forts (Tons of Guns) - Windows - nah
- Titan Quest - Windows - and I own it already - so good that I paused this bundle
- Shiness - Windows - nah
- Interplanetary - Linux, great - but not exactly on my must-play list
- Stumblehill - Humble original (Linux ?)- maybe this will be in the Trove for pick-up another time
I did a "Pause-A-Month" on July's bundle, and pleased to say that it worked out good this time. (But I've been upset in the past when I'd wanted some of the Late Reveals. The Late Reveals only become available after you have already paid for and claimed the Monthly bundle - annoying, but that's the way it works.)

I didn't have Hearts of Iron, so I did not pause this month...
I'm really not enthusiastic about how this month turned out... and FYI, Stumblehill is a windows only download.

Yea, last month sucked for me. I took a gamble, and it didn't pay off.

I'm going to unpause this month for Escapists 2... wonder what the throwaway games will be.

I decided 2 months ago that it isn't worth it (for me). I only play linux games and they don't include enough of them.
Unless the Early Unlocks are interesting enough for me I won't buy another one, I'm not going to risk it. Usually I'm only interested in the Late Reveals, which you can't know, so...

WOW at Conan Exiles; Denuvo and Battleye... so not even a chance to play it with wine.
