It's the weekend and the sun is out, so naturally many of us will be staring at a bright screen playing the latest and greatest Linux games.

I tend to go through phases of being attached to specific games for a few weeks before utterly burning myself out on them, currently Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has managed to hook me back in. It's not exactly the newest game, but it still has such fluid and fun gameplay that there's still really nothing else like it in the shooter scene.

HITMAN is also tempted me back once more, since I've never actually gone through the Patient Zero bonus campaign. With HITMAN 2 being announced, I feel like I need to get my practice down in case Feral Interactive say they're porting it to Linux again (they sadly haven't—yet). It would be odd if they didn't, since HITMAN seemed to be quite a popular game with Linux gamers.

Caves of Qud has also been amusing me lately, such a great story maker. I won't tell you how many times I've died…

So many games, so little time. Choosing what to play does become a real issue, with an insane amount of great quality games on Linux—there's truly never been a better time for us.

What are you playing this weekend and what do you think about it?

Decided to give Ballistic another go, but that game is just not my type of shooter. So deleted it after playing a couple of matches.

It's kinda disappoiting what we have available for play.

Nothing, time for summer vacation ;)

Nothing. It´s just *too-bloody-warm* for gaming, I had hoped that by now I would at least have played through PoE2 but I´ve only played it for about 15 hours since it was released. Looking at the weather forecast there is no gaming in sight for my foreseeable future. :'(:(

Certainly not "latest and greatest", I'm playing the classics: Cube 2 Sauerbraten and Smokin' Guns!

I like this kind of article because there is always something new to discover in the comments.

Although I am a diligent reader of GOL, "The Dwarves" and "Rise of Titans" were new to me! Wishlisted instantly.

I have so many games to play but since I'm a strategy game fan most of them require some working brain to play them - ideal for weekends when you are not exhausted from work. But the sun is just too inviting and we had nice rain the last days so it's all green and not too hot.

Stellaris, Pillars of Eternity, Age of Wonders III, Shadow Tactics... have to wait. So I'm probably playing again during the week on evenings some Slay the Spire and Euro Truck Simulator 2 where you can perfectly listen to some podcasts or music while playing and not thinking too hard. :D

Trying to finish XCOM:WoTC even though I'm feeling a little burnt out on XCOM. Maybe start SteamWorld Dig 2. I looooved SteamWorld Heist.

I plan on playing Dead Cells-now that I have found a workaround for the steam controller and Insurgency.

Gonna finish Serious Sam: The Second Encounter. Already binged The First Encounter, just so happy that I finally figured out how to get the source code for the game to compile.

I'll ask a slightly different question.. Anyone interested in playing some co-op game? I have Divinity OS laying in my GOG library, but to other suggestions as well.

Pulsar: Lost Colony would be also great.
