It's the weekend and the sun is out, so naturally many of us will be staring at a bright screen playing the latest and greatest Linux games.
I tend to go through phases of being attached to specific games for a few weeks before utterly burning myself out on them, currently Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has managed to hook me back in. It's not exactly the newest game, but it still has such fluid and fun gameplay that there's still really nothing else like it in the shooter scene.
HITMAN is also tempted me back once more, since I've never actually gone through the Patient Zero bonus campaign. With HITMAN 2 being announced, I feel like I need to get my practice down in case Feral Interactive say they're porting it to Linux again (they sadly haven't—yet). It would be odd if they didn't, since HITMAN seemed to be quite a popular game with Linux gamers.
Caves of Qud has also been amusing me lately, such a great story maker. I won't tell you how many times I've died…
So many games, so little time. Choosing what to play does become a real issue, with an insane amount of great quality games on Linux—there's truly never been a better time for us.
What are you playing this weekend and what do you think about it?
Yesterday i finish Tomb Raider (2013). Very entretaining game, especialy the climbing and puzzles. The battle sistem made me confuse some times in the movie driven escenes. You are seeing some cutscene, and suddenly you have to hit some key. I dead lots of times for that.
Now iḿ Playing a oozemancer in Tales of Maj'Eyal
(sorry for the english, i'm learning it. any suggestion is welcomed)
Also been hooked on more Dungeon Crawl: Stone Soup; it's about to be the version 0.22 tourney in August! Great UI/mechanics/gameplay updates for it, too, playing in Trunk just to get them! It's an easy game to play on lappy in the heat, while also fighting a sore throat/cough/fever(?) from Canada's Wonderland.
Not just gaming inside, roller coasters are good too! ^.^

Not a computer RPG, but with an actual DM.
Quoting: ElvanexI've recently been super addicted to RimWorld. :) I'd been trying to avoid it until 1.0 was released, but I finally gave in and started a game in beta 18. For anyone on the hook on this buying this game, let me assure you that it is totally beyond worth it. :) It's one of my top 5 favorite games of all time!
Rimworld 1.0 is currently in testing... You can access this through the beta tab in steam.
It is quite stable, no crashes for me at all... But they are still adjusting the balance.
See more from me
