Crazy Justice [Steam], the third-person shooter with Battle Royale modes is supposed to be entering Early Access tomorrow so they've finally put out a proper gameplay video.

The Battle Royale modes are supposed to be free to play, however, we've been getting some conflicting reports from their Discord channel. It's not entirely clear if they will be free to play while it's in Early Access or not. It would be strange if it wasn't considering their Steam page clearly says so.

Anyway, here's the gameplay:

However, there's some obvious rough edges. The footstep sound for example, is pretty annoying—it sounds like someone is gently fisting a bag of sand constantly so that's going to need improvements. The weapon sounds are also extremely dull, they don't sound like they have any kind of power to them at all. Of course, it would also be a lot more interesting when it's live with more players since they were only testing with a few of their team here.

Minor gripes aside, it looks exactly like I would expect a Battle Royale mode to look like, which is a good thing for us.

Very much looking forward to finally getting this in my hands. You can follow it and wishlist it on Steam.

Quoting: richipThanks. Got it to work, as well. Had to set LD_LIBRARY_PATH in the CrazyJustice.sh starter script. It's very rough, but I'm hopeful. I'm fine to wait. Unfortunately, I told my 10-yr old and now he's excited.
So what exactly did you do?

Edit: Fixed it.

Simply copy over libsteam_api.so from "Crazy Justice/Engine/Binaries/ThirdParty/Steamworks/Steamv142/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu" -> "Crazy Justice/CrazyJustice/Binaries/Linux" and it will launch.

Quoting: NaibOk so it is out and it is rough...
Surely it's not "out" if it has just entered Early Access? Have fun beta testing and remember to report the bugs to the developer.

Not early access.

Closed beta for backers only.

Which makes all their recent advertisements a bit false.

Let's also remember it was supposed to be out last month.

Sorry, my bad. Doesn't change the fact that the game is unfinished and will likely remain that way for a long while.

Also the idea of paid beta access makes me a bit grumpy. I can't help it.
