The weekend has arrived and you're looking for a new game but what to buy? Here's a look at what's both good and on sale.

First up, GOG have some nice picks:

See all Linux games on sale on GOG here.

Humble also still have The Humble Spooky Horror Bundle 2018 with Detention, Layers of Fear and White Noise 2. The Humble Monthly will give you Rise of the Tomb Raider plus access to plenty of DRM free Linux games in the Humble Trove as well.

Humble Store also have:

Meanwhile, Steam are having a big THQ Nordic sale where you can find some good stuff like:

Personally, my weekend is going to be filled with "testing" more Doom via Steam Play along with some more 7 Billion Humans (it's so good!) and probably a little more Radiis too. I'm also hoping that A Gummy's Life might be fun to play with my son, looks like it could be amusing.

Have a fantastic weekend everyone, what will you be playing?

As always, those and plenty more can be found on our Linux native sales page.

Just finished The Station and... well... it's not bad, but (imho) clearly not of the same calibre than Tacoma or SOMA (a bit short even if I can live with that, and lacking in term of ambiance and emotions). :|

Will try Hollow Knight tomorrow! :) (edit: it's a f***ing good game!)

Well, with Steamplay I have the chance to play "Sid Meyer's Pirates!" for the first time! No issues here (it's from 2004 after all). Old game but great game!

The bad thing is that this interrupted my Saints Row second run (replayed the Third and re-began then Fourth).

While chanting "Drunken Sailor" I'm trying to download the huge "Deus Ex: Human Revolution" I bought some time ago. I'll test the mettle of men Steamplay soon!

BTW, have anyone tried "Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator" with Steamplay?
(Liam, I know you are a Sci-Fi fan, check this out)

I really want to buy "Battle Chasers" and "Silver", however I have such a huge backlog since I did virtually no gaming from mid-may to mid-august.

If I thought things were getting bad on the "backlog front" *before* Steam Play/Proton, then afterwards....it´s "Backlog Armageddon".

This weekend I´ll keep playing PoE2, I´ll probably also start playing "Tesla Effect" from my beloved Tex Murphy Adventure series. Perhaps also some "Monkey Island" and I kinda miss the great atmosphere from "Alan Wake", just reinstalled and it seems to work great. I may very well decide to install a whole bunch of other old favorites, as well as windows games that I never got around to installing.

I wasted my weekend trying games using Steam Play. The results were great: I discovered a GPU hang, some games not working, some graphical glitches, helped my distro improve the Steam Play experience. Wrote some github issues, forum posts, bug reports.

All in all, a great weekend! :D
