A quick tip for those who love their party games as Humble have put out the The Humble Jackbox Party Bundle.
To be clear on this one: A lot of their games have a hidden Linux beta, which you can download and play on Linux without having to opt into anything. We've written about them before as we were in touch with one of their developers. Also, I reached out to them on Twitter about pushing them out officially and they replied with "It's being discussed.".
With that in mind, these games I have personally tested as working which are included in the bundle:
- Quiplash
- Fibbage XL
- The Jackbox Party Pack 1 - 3
- Drawful 2
Check out the The Humble Jackbox Party Bundle if you're interested.

I'm on the fence about buying this. How US-centric are the questions?

I'm Swedish, and I've had many hours of fun on the various quizzes and games with both friends and family. Can't say that any of the questions have felt particularly US-centric to me as of yet, but I've not played any of the You Don't Know Jack games either, so I can't speak to the questions in there.
The Jackbox Party Packs are more than definitely worth it regardless, lots of fun games and in my experience they've all run better on Linux than on Windows for me.

Ya not enough that It causes any issues with the games, besides it put players at an even level not knowing the answers. Leading to some hilarious fill-in-the-blanks!
They all run great for me on ARCH.

It varies greatly from game to game. Some games aren't based around trivia and are fine. But there are also games that have very US centric questions.

Interesting, I hadn't heard about those, but they seem quite nice. Do you have to make your guests download a whole app to play, or do you just point them to an URL? (does it work without internet as well?)

They just have to go to jackbox.tv and put in their nickname and the room code.

Quoting: GuestI'm mostly on the fence about this due to it not being officially on Linux. I guess it shows as Linux sale on Humble tho? But how does Steam calculate the stats if Linux is only available on a beta branch?
Steam still sees it as a Linux purchase even if a game doesn't have any Linux binary.
It would know you're using the Linux binary as it'll download from the Linux branch of the game.
