Another week, another look at what's currently on sale for Linux gamers and developers and we have some pretty good picks this week.
Firstly, you can grab the rather good roguelike MidBoss on Humble Store, itch.io and Steam with 40% off so take your pick with what store you prefer there. Scaine recently wrote up a review of it too, check it out.
GOG have a new weekly sale up that has a good few Linux titles like:
- Hotline Miami - 75% off and also Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number - 75% off
- To The Moon - 67% off and Finding Paradise - 33% off
- SteamWorld Dig - 66% off and SteamWorld Dig 2 - 33% off
- Iconoclasts - 15% off
Meanwhile over on Steam, they also have a few of my favourites on sale too:
- Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - 85% off
- RUINER - 50% off
- Basingstoke - 35% off
- Geneshift - 30% off
As for Humble Store/Bundle:
- The Humble Sports Bundle with Motorsport Manager, DiRT Rally, Super Blood Hockey, 75% off Football Manager 2018 and F1 2017
- The current Humble Monthly lets you switch out the three Windows only games for Rise of the Tomb Raider (no dlc)
- Super Inefficient Golf - 50% off
Also, Humble have two book bundles for those of you wanting to look at making your own games. There's The Humble Book Bundle: Game Design & Puzzlecraft and The Humble Book Bundle: Program Your Own Games and while not all the books will be useful, some seem pretty interesting.
Also, all the hidden object puzzle games from Artifex Mundi are 70% off at GOG.
Hello!
Are they any good, do they have an interesting story or anything?
Are they any good, do they have an interesting story or anything?Simple answer is yes, they are very good, the artwork in all of them is brilliant, the storylines are interesting, I have 39 of the 61 games available on Steam & plan to get the rest at some point.
Across the games you'll find Ghosts, Zombies, Vampires, Werewolves, Curses, Magic, Murders, Kidnappings, Blackmail, Airships, Robots, Gods, Demons & lots & lots of puzzles.

Cool, I might check them out! I have not played much of that kind of game, but it might be time I guess! Thanks for the thoughts.
I also picked Tropico 5 Complete up for 7,77€ at gamesplanet.fr.

Storylines in the AF games tend to be a bit melodramatic, but to the point of being charming rather than repelling. Don't look for anything too advanced there, but do look for enjoyable puzzles and fantastic art, with a bit of variety in style from title to title.
Hum... that Grid Autosport doesn’t show up with that discount for me. ):Seems it must have ended early. Switched it to a different one.
There's also the Fanatical Killer Bundle with 4 linux games, including Tölva, for only US$ 4.99.And, according to the site, the Linux requirement seems are actually quite modest:
“Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system”
That’s it! No i5 or fancy RAM. Nop. Just a processor and OS as long as they’re 64 bit.
ahahahahah
Now for real: thanks for the tip!

Looks like The Swindle actually has a Linux build too. Not tried it to see if it works yet though.

You can read my article on The Swindle here. Minor gamepad issues. Superb game though - well worth grabbing, particularly on a sale.
[Huh - forgot that the images broke on that article... I wonder if I still have the originals...]
