Gather your party together as Heroes of Hammerwatch has a rather big update out and there's some fun stuff.

The first biggest change, is that it now has full modding support along with Steam Workshop support, so it's going to be real interesting to see what people come up with for such a game. I'll be honest, I still haven't gotten around to playing this one. Sounds like I will have to with goodies like this coming to it!

Also included is new actual content with an entire new act to play through, which has two floors available to explore. There's also new potions, new items to find and equip along with a bunch of bug fixes.

A little more about the game:

Heroes of Hammerwatch is a rogue-lite action-adventure game set in the same universe as Hammerwatch. Encounter endless hordes of enemies, traps, puzzles, secrets and lots of loot, as you battle your way through procedurally generated levels to reach the top of the Forsaken Spire.

A rogue-lite with a lot of persistent progression. You will start each run in Outlook, a town which you can upgrade to grant your heroes with various enhancements that will further help you in your quest. The heroes themselves will also remain persistent, you can even bring your own heroes to your friends game!

Unlike the first Hammerwatch, it doesn't have local co-op support which is a bit of a shame. Still, it looks great and it's good to see it well supported after release.

You can grab it on Humble Store and Steam.

Seriously everybody, do not underestimate this game! Don't let your pixel-art fatigue get the better of you.

It's insanely fun when played in coop. Even if you only have one other person, still worth it.

And it has been updated so much by the developers since release in major ways.
Big sweeping balancing and gameplay reworks that exclusively made it better.

If you are at all interested in a rouge-lite dungeon crawler, pick this up.

I finished the original in local co-op. Will think about this one as it was lots and lots of fun!
