Artifex Mundi's latest beautiful game, My Brother Rabbit, is now set for release along with Linux support on September 21st. Their games always have some amazing art and this latest title certainly continues that tradition.

About the game:

A loving family discovers that their daughter has fallen ill. While her parents set out to get her the treatment she needs, her determined older brother turns to the power of imagination to help them cope. While the outside world offers a harsh reality, these innocent children create a surreal fantasy world that gives them the play and comfort they need. Embark on a grand journey to five different lands filled with incredible robo-moose, floating baobabs, giant mushrooms, and clocks melting to the rhythm of passing time.

“We feel that players will form a bond with the children in My Brother Rabbit because of their enduring spirit,” said Tomasz Grudziński, CEO at Artifex Mundi. “Though this story begins with a tragedy, these children always hope for a brighter future.”

For the musical score, they're working with Arkadiusz Reikowski, who worked on Observer, Layers of Fear, SEVEN The Days Long Gone and plenty more so I expect the music to be great.

The art reminds me a lot of Tiny Bang Story, I wonder if the artist from that is involved.

Artifex Mundi, Artifex Mundi, what can I say about them without sounding like an advert? They make great games, I have 39 titles from their current 61 game catalogue, I will be buying this one as well as finishing off my collection, I want them all.

They may not be everyone's cup of tea but if you like hidden object puzzles, ghost stories, murder mysteries & stuff like that Artifex Mundi are where you'll find just what you're looking for.

The thing that I noticed a while ago about the indie game scene.... lacking the manpower to to do something that pushes photorealism, they instead have to figure out how to more with less, and it almost always turns out to be far more visually interesting than the AAA console fodder.

There's a big Artifex Mundi bundle for sale here right now. Not for this specific title though.
