PayPalThe Humble Unity Bundle is now officially live and it brings with it a pretty good selection of games available on Linux. As usual, I will only note what has a Linux native version, there's others in the bundle that are Windows-only.
If you pay at least $1 you will get:
- Oxenfree
- AER Memories of Old
If you pay more than the current average you get:
- Wasteland 2: Director's Cut
- The Final Station
If you pay $15 (approx £11.65) or more you get:
- Torment: Tides of Numenera
- Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun - Doesn't have a Linux icon, even though it's a Linux game. I've let my Humble Store contact know.
- Universal Sound FX (Unity asset store collection) - Doesn't list Linux, but no reason why it won't work in the Linux version of the Unity editor.

I already own Wasteland 2 and Tides of Numenera, and although Shadow Tactics looks great, I had to go for the lowest tier this time. AER and Oxenfree seem well worth the 0.90€.

This bundle is totally worth it just for the games. I'd be all over it ... if I didn't already own every single Linux game in the bundle!

Huh. And I was looking at AER in the GoG sale, but this is even better.

It's probably better if you didn't play the first game. Then you won't be disappointed that it doesn't quite live up to the original. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed Tides of Numenera, and it's a good game, but it just wasn't quite as good a story as Planescape.

As a hobbyist gamedev who has used Unity Linux editor this is a great deal! Also the games are worth it alone ^_^

The only thing I want from this one is AER. May just buy it separately for a reasonable price.

The Final Station is a good game too if you like good pixelart and "survival-horror-like" 2D gameplay... story is a bit obscure but there is a good atmosphere through the game! (The game is a bit overpriced ihmo, but if you take the DLC with it it's worth the full price for both as the DLC has more or less the same amount of gameplay than the base game) :)

The unity stuff interest me, just to learn a bit making stuff in Unity, I doubt I get a full game finished, but just some smaller projects could be fun. Do all these Unity Asset Store collections not work in the Linux Unity version?
And then I get Final Station and Torment: Tides of Numenera on top :-)
