Good morning, it's question time here again on GamingOnLinux as we enter another weekend. Wipe that sleep from your eyes, grab a drink and come chat.

This weekend I have a tasty menu waiting, including some glorious flailing about in Rocket League (40% off on Humble). Even though 99% of my games are mostly me chasing the ball, watching it enter my goal from afar I still find it completely addictive. I'm slowly starting to learn how to do those slick rocket jumps (I even saved a goal by doing one—go me), but they're certainly not easy to be able to pull off.

I will no doubt be pulled into playing some more awesome co-op games with my son, he's recently taken quite a liking to Wizard of Legend which is surprising as it's not exactly an easy game for a younger audience. I think the fact that he can run around with me, as a Wizard and customise what spells he has (as well as using all my damn diamonds buying more) is a big selling point.

I was seriously hoping to finally be able to play the backer beta of Crazy Justice, but sadly Black Riddles Studio's communication has been repeatedly quite poor. The Linux version was supposed to be patched over a week ago which didn't happen, then again it was going to be patched "in the next two days" which also came and went without a word. Sadly, Crazy Justice so far has been a major disappointment.

I will also be testing more of censored which is coming to Linux. Jokes aside, there are a number of games I'm testing that I can't talk about right now, but we're in for a fun year.

So what are you playing this weekend and what do you think about it? Grab a chair, get comfy and let us know.

I will also no doubt be chasing my Rabbit around, telling him off for chewing everything possible.

I´m playing "Prey" (2006) the great oldie that works spendid with Steam Play, also a bit of "Doom" (2016) and "Mirror´s Edge". On the native front, I´m finally getting close to the end of PoE2 (right when the second expansion is due).

I'm still quite early in Thief, now that I am able to play it for the first time at all thanks to Proton. My goal is to ghost every mission with no loot left behind, so I'm taking my time, having spent more than 20 hours in just the city hub and the first two main missions plus a few side quests. Sadly, I missed raising a suspicion in the hub somewhere, so there is no turning back without starting a completely new game :(

Sounds like there's little difference between your rabbit and my two 14 months old girls. :-D "How about looking at this book?" *chewchew*

Back to games... Still playing 7 Billion Humans. I solved the two middle optimization tiers, but I'm still stuck at one optimization goal of the easiest tier. And the hardest puzzles are not too easy without optimization goals in the first place...

Did you know that there's a native version of Prey awaiting you, done by Ryan Gordon? Works splendid, even on Intel IGPs.

I think I'll be mostly downloading and testing old windows only games from my library with Proton. As long as I have space to install them that is :)

Been playing through Dungeons 3 with a friend, it's been having us both laughing constantly due to the heavy meta humor and regular-like-clockwork fourth-wall breaks.
The game plays like a mix of Dungeon Keeper and Warcraft 3 in the overworld/underworld split, and the co-op is quite masterfully done as well, so it's been a real treat.

Also been playing some Deep Rock Galactic with Steam Play, apart from some audio issues - a constant low crackling in the background, and with audio sliders that have no effect - it's been quite the nice experience as well.

And I've been helping work on improving the experience of playing Warframe, sadly stil quite the mess to get that game running, and requiring a complete replacement of the launcher just to get off of the ground in the first place. But it runs amazingly well with DXVK - and with the PoE stutter fix.

I'm about halfway through Unforeseen Incidents, which I picked up in the Humble sale last week. It's pretty good, if a bit slow. Not in terms of game performance. Just that I get impatient watching my character walk from point A to point B.
