A developer from the Unsung Warriors team emailed in about their 2D action-adventure. They've released a free prologue with Linux support and it's pretty good.

The demo works really nicely, including with the Steam Controller when paired with SC Controller. Smooth responsive controls, some fun combat and a pretty pleasing visual style. While it's technically just a demo for a full game that will go to crowdfunding sometime, the developer told me they're calling it a prologue since it has a story of its own.
Definitely interested to see how the will expand the world and the gameplay. Grab the free prologue from itch.io and do let us know what you think in the comments.

I tested it and indeed, the controls are really good. Looking forward to the finalized game.

Err, I'm too lazy nowadays. If it's not on Steam, I'm not playing. But they have my thumbs-up on YouTubes. Gamesplay and style look really nice.

This is absolutely superb. There's about 45 minutes of gameplay on there for free and it's just an extremely satisfying game to play.
@cprn: Installing Itch takes like a minute and works very like Steam (find a game, click install, click play). You won't regret it for gems like this and the upcoming Gravity Ace game. Not to mention Dicey Dungeons and various other lovelies.
