Another month has begun and so Humble have put out another Humble Monthly with a great Linux game plus one that works in Steam Play.

For the games you access right away, you will get Cities: Skylines along with the After Dark DLC which support Linux. It's easily the best city builder on Linux, perhaps even the best full stop. I've sunk more hours into it than I would care to admit! On top of that, they're giving Metal Gear Solid V (both Ground Zeros and Phantom Pain) which are Windows games although according to ProtonDB at least The Phantom Pain should work okay with Steam Play.

As usual, a bunch more titles will be revealed next month.

As a reminder, you also get access to the Humble Trove which has 30+ DRM free games available on Linux last I checked and that alone is worth quite a lot, with some good picks in there too. You can find titles like Orwell, Reus, SOMA, The End Is Nigh, Hacknet and plenty of other well-known and good Linux games.

For $12, that’s a pretty decent deal.

Last month they gave us HITMAN, 7 Days to Die, Hollow Knight, The Dwarves, Dead Island Definitive Edition plus some Windows titles like Resident Evil and Sniper Elite.

Check out the Humble Monthly here.

I guess I'd buy it for MGSV since it has a price history of going only to 9.99

Quoting: morbiusI only bought two Monthlies so far, one that was perfect for me and the other quite meh. It's this random nature of the bundles that puts me of, but it can somewhat be mitigated by trading unnecessary Steam keys. Here is my profile, you can contact me if you have something from my wishlist and want something I have in the Tradable section.
I want NightSky, City of the Shroud and Figment but your wishlist is tiny (with rare gems).

MGSV is an awesome game however be warned that you'll need at least NVidia driver 396.xx (sadly still not available on Debian) to make it work.
