Feral Interactive, one of the only companies to be porting AAA games to Linux have put out a request for more port suggestions.
THE REQUESTINATOR is whirring noisily into action! Feed your game requests for macOS, Linux or mobile into this marvellous machine and they will be processed with unnecessarily complex computational algorithms.
You can see the posts on Twitter and Facebook.
While it's a bit of fun, it will be interesting to see how many of the requests Feral actually end up porting. They're already working on Life is Strange 2, Total War: THREE KINGDOMS and Total War: WARHAMMER II is due out this month. So they're still bringing us some good games, but I do hope they seriously have more coming up.
If they really want a list, being realistic here my top three right now to keep me happy would be:
- HITMAN 2
- Just Cause 4
- Shadow of the Tomb Raider
I think those would be possible, since they already have some sort of contacts with each studio and publisher and have done previous titles. In the case of Just Cause 4, it's the same developer that did Mad Max which Feral Ported to Linux. Those are my realistic titles, however, if they want to push they boat out a little how about:
- Dying Light 2
- Dead by Daylight
- Divinity: Original Sin 2
What would be your top 5, that you would want Feral to port to Linux?
· Doom Eternal
· Dragon Ball FighterZ
· NieR:Automata
· Shadow of the Tomb Raider
I will be really happy with Magic the Gathering Arena.
But I would swap those five with a new partnership announcement, maybe Epic, Ubisoft or even Blizzard.
And say Blizzard because i miss WoW and the only way for me to renew my subscription is having WoW native.
Resident Evil remakes
Original Sin 2
Cyberpunk 2077
Red Dead Redemption 2
HITMAN 2
Just Cause 4

Shadow of the Tomb Raider
I second that. Please "Shadow of the Tomb Raider" and "Hitman Season 2".
Quoting: GuestQuoting: GuestYeah, i too would buy Linux native Blizzard games but they already told us our numbers are too small.
Cyberpunk 2077 would be wonderful news but CDPR releases non-DRM games and i have heard Feral doesn't port those so it is even less likely to happen.
DRM doesn't have anything to do with it, as far as I'm aware. The titles they port are pretty much Steam exclusives anyway, regardless of platform. Nobody from Feral has ever said "we need DRM before we port" - that's just coming from that they games they do port are on Steam only. Correlation is not causation.
Just fyi, some titles in steam are drm-free and don't need steam running.

May I suggest to move any DRM-free related discussions to the forum?
1.- Metro Exodus.
2.- Dying Light 2.
3.- Green Hell.
4.- Generation Zero.
5.- Atomic Heart.

Dedicated thread.
So far my impression is that it's all about DRM with no valid excuse. There are Windows DRM-free releases on GOG that have Feral ports on Steam only. They clearly said that "it's not viable" to release DRM-free (whatever that means). See the linked thread above.
So I agree with @Dedale, CP2077 is completely unlikely to be ported by Feral because of that. Until they'll reverse their stance on GOG and other DRM-free stores releases, there is no point to suggest specific DRM-free games for them.
