Feral Interactive are teasing another Linux port

By -

Another one?! Yes! Feral Interactive have begun teasing us once again with a new upcoming Linux and Mac port.

On their famous port radar, one they jokingly claim has a mind of it's own, is this new clue for Linux and Mac:

"Flushing Point"

For those interested, here's a higher resolution picture:

They only just recently released Total War: WARHAMMER II, with Life is Strange 2 and Total War: THREE KINGDOMS and Shadow of the Tomb Raider all confirmed to be coming.

I know some of you groan about the teasers, but they're a good bit of fun in my book. They've seemingly started announcing titles quite a bit sooner than before too which is great.

What do you think it will be this time? So many announcements lately, this is fantastic to see. If it's HITMAN 2 or something more open-world, I'm completely sold. Shutup and take my money.

Ps. Apologies to any copyright holders on the image, couldn't find where it's from. Do get in touch if you're unhappy with us including it here…

Quoting: mylkasaddly only arkham origins works OOTB. knight ist totally borked. for the linux community it would make more sense to port batman, than hitman 2, becuase hitman 2 works OOTB
but i think they make more money with hitman 2. and it should be easy to port, because it is nearly the same game as hitman 1
Hitman: Absolution would be nice. its also totally borked

True, but the key thing is money: Proton raises the bar. For games like Hitman 2 it's either 0 day release (or shortly afterwards) or the risk of missing the boat, if many Linux gamers bought the game thanks to good enough Proton performance.

Well, another thought: if there is a Linux native port in the works, would original publisher intentionally break Proton compatibility to keep feasibility of the port?

i dont think so.
enix makes now more money with life is strange 2 and the proton users
why would they renounce that money and give it to feral?

Quoting: ageresBioShock 1&2 Remastered?

Bioshock 1 runs very well under Proton. Bioshock Infinite has a native Linux port.

Where are we going? - clearly all paths lead to Rome
Bellerophon riding on Pegasus is the emblem of the World War II British Airborne Forces.

Conclusion: TW:Rome II

Flushing point = Waterloo

Conclusion: Napoleon: Total War Imperial Edition

It's just a feeling, looking at that knight on a Pegasus that makes me feel like "winged destruction coming down on us from the sky"... Just Cause 4.

Honestly, if it's Just Cause 4 I will literally die happy on the spot. It looks utterly insane and it's exactly the type of game we need as a platform.

Well, it's a Square Enix + Avalanche game (Mad Max)... There might be a sliver of hope... Maybe? :)

Damn, that means we really should hold off on buying that on another platform! I've been kind of sliding over to buy things on the PS4, at least if they're multiplayer / better on a game pad.

Dragonlance! Check it out if you enjoy fantasy. :)
Quoting: Fakeman_PretendnameOkay, so you... flush away a sort of "Dirt", which is sometimes called a "number 2"... and when using decimal fractions we say "two point one" for 2.1 and so on... so we're looking at a sort of Dirt 2 point...

Dirt Rally 2.0

and um, "where are we going", because um, Rallying is based on navigating from point to point on a track which you don't know beforehand... and it has a man with a spear on a flying horse because... um. I don't know.

For a silly guess, I was surprisingly close with Dirt Rally 2.0 rather than dirt 4 - though for the wrong reasons, I gather. Anyone know how "Flushing Point" actually translates to Dirt 4? I'm interested to know how their cryptic mind works.

The book where he gets pulled into Ravenloft was amazing.

Well... At least, Proton seems like a good alternative...

Dragons of a Vanished Moon is a great closure, imo, to this character.

I should read the newer Dragonlance books, I mostly stopped after the short stories about the Companions kids.

I read "Dragons of Summer Flames" and "The War of Souls" trilogy... Excellent books if you ever come by one of these.
