For those who prefer to walk on the DRM free side of life, it's worth noting that GOG are also doing some deals right now in their Black Friday sale.

As usual, I will give you some good picks after having a look over:

Obviously there's a lot more, those are just some games I personally consider to be pretty good with some monies cut away. You can see all their Linux deals here.

The sale started a few days ago, but the list of Linux titles was quite poor. Since then, they've added more so we waited on it. The sale lasts until the 27th of November at 11PM UTC.

No, unless you buy it from their own store.

I wish I could filter out DLCs on GOG like Steam does. Four pages of mostly NWN, PoE and Tyranny addons is so bothersome to sift through.

Anyone know if you can still get the GemRB compatible version of Planescape: Torment with the Enhanced Edition?

As usual, older/classic games currently on sale on GOG that I've made Wine/Proton wrappers (wrapper release list/links to release threads in the third post) for:

The Witcher 3 GOTY

Hi adamhm,

Thanks very much for your amazing scripts.

Wondering if your Witcher 3 GOTY script enables playing the game near perfectly on Linux?

I was very impressed by your Shadow Warrior 2 script which worked perfectly for me, despite not having the latest Nvidia graphics drivers on my Debian Linux install. (I'm still on Nvidia 390.87 :/ ).
No 'connect' games this time though; that's a bummer. I wish I could transfer my entire steam catalogue to GOG.

I'd assume the script works fine, but for Witcher 3 you will need stream output support which is only in 396.54.09 for now. Otherwise you'll get some glitchy and invisible enemies.

As tuubi pointed out, you'll need newer drivers for stream output support - it will still work without that, but some monsters will be invisible or distorted.

You're doing great adamhm. I was hoping to see a script for Empire Earth but unfortunately no.
I usually try to play it on Linux for years... and I always failed, despite the ratings on appdb.winehq.org.
As my last test, I can't see the menu. :(

Yes, sure. I just got the enhanced edition a few hours ago and both games were added to my library.
