I've been waiting on this day for quite some time! Parkitect is a truly great theme park management sim and it's getting set to leave Early Access.
November 29th is the day and this will also see the game finally get the campaign mode. Sounds like it's going to be pretty interesting too, with 26 scenarios with unique and varied settings that is spread across a world-map with branching paths.

Absolutely love seeing Windows, Mac and Linux displayed so clearly together in a trailer like that. Also, that was a fantastic trailer. If I wasn't already playing it and loving it that would certainly have grabbed my attention.
After release, it sounds like they still have more exciting updates planned on top of the usual bug fixes so I'm pretty keen to see what else they can add it. There's a lot in it even without a campaign mode.
Is it worth picking up even now? Just do it! The best place right now is Humble Store which gives you a DRM free copy and a Steam key (plus it's on sale), otherwise GOG and Steam.
The price at release will be $29.99/€24.99 (they didn't give out the expect £ price).
I'm sold. Will support it just for this alone.
It hurts so much to see the many great (gameplay wise) sandbox games that don't offer a campaign.
And usually it's not because the devs don't wnat it, but because it's damn hard and expensive.

I always get a little triggered when game devs, publishers and games media use the term "PC" as if it was synonymous with Windows. If a game is Windows only, then it should say Windows, not PC, because the latter includes Windows, macOS, Linux and more.
Quoting: BrisseOh believe me, this is a daily conversation I get into with developers and publishers. Even some people who should really know better, end up sending me press releases that only say "PC" or simply "Steam".QuoteAbsolutely love seeing Windows, Mac and Linux displayed so clearly together in a trailer like that.

As an old-school rollercoaster tycoon fan (1&2 but not 3) I will finally get this.
I only waited for the campaign.
See more from me
