OK, I was able to work around the issue with Distance. I was changing the wrong file. Instead of changing standard Unity location:
you should change:
And after that it works fine.
$HOME/.config/unity3d/Refract/Distance/prefsyou should change:
$HOME/.config/refract/Distance/Settings/GraphicsSettings.xmlAnd after that it works fine.

I notice that the Humble store now shows prices in Australian dollars. I wonder when Steam will?

Decided to load up my Humble games Wishlist, and of the 69 titles wishlisted, I have needed to remove 11 of them due to purchase in the last few months. Good to keep one's housekeeping up to date ;)
Thinking to get Observer (in the Dystopian bundle) and Conarium (in the store sale). After I have bought 1 more game, I'll own 1.5k titles on Steam.
EDIT: Just noticed that Turok is incorrectly listed on Humble store as Windows only (recently ported to Linux).

I can barely imagine what insignificant portion you have played... (Or how did you get so wealthy to afford them all and have the time to play them :D )

I just finished looking at a bunch of the reviews on Steam...
It seems that a lot of people love the game; but the bugs are quite extensive. Many reviewers have 75 or more hours in the game too, so I believe that they are credible reports. There is a 1.1 patch coming out next week (in their beta branch now) but multiple reviews mention regular hot fixes and the bug complaints even include reviews made today.
I am still interested in the game, but I think I will wait a little while longer while they stabilize it.
Plus... interesting how big updates happen right around steam sales.

Slightly joking - My "game" is online bargain hunting (as well as picking up freebies). But, more recently I have slowed down. My favourite recent FREE pick-up was Shadow Warrior 2 - It was zero cost on GOG (for a couple of days) and adamhm put together a nice WINE script to get this Windows title easily running on Linux.

cool, I always wanted to try this, but the price was a bit steep for me and reading reviews didn't help. could be, that couple of days playing is enough. this of course means, that I have to dig up the time :)
