Take the chill off with some toasty new games, now with money off in the Humble Indie Mega Week sale.
Here's a few top picks from me:
- Darkest Dungeon - 70% off - One not for the faint of heart, you're not afraid of the dark are you? Well, that doesn't matter as long as you have a strong team.
- Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes - 67% off - It's silly, it's puzzling and you might die.
- 7 Days to Die - 64% off - One of our streamer's favourite games. Recently had a massive new release that's in testing, which is impressive.
- UNDERTALE - 60% off - Easily one of the weirdest games I've ever played. One you need to stick with, it can be very rewarding.
- Rocket League - 50% - Still has the crown for my favourite game. The Rumble mode is excellent, giving you a random power every 10 seconds or so. I have hundreds of hours in this!
- Opus Magnum - 33% off - The game that made me fall in love with Zachtronics. It's accessible, it looks awesome and it's incredibly fun. Design machines and watch them work, then improve them and watch them speed along.
- Slay the Spire - 25% off - Easily one of the absolute best fusion of roguelikes and card games I've ever played.
There's obviously plenty more so check out the sale here. There's not just games on sale, there's also some DLC so perhaps you might find something to complete your collection? I'll be honest, picking up a fancy new car for Rocket League like the Vulcan is quite tempting…
Pleased to see the platform icons showing properly again, seems Humble took my feedback on board from a while ago to make sure they always show for such special sales. Makes it easy for Linux users that's for sure.

Whelp , already have all the ones you highlighted.
Time to dig deeper into the sale.
Thanks for the tip. (<- no pun intended)

They are also having their annual christmas charity bundle.
New games every day. So far a few linux titles: Guns of Icarus, Race the Sun, Convoy, Game Dev Studio, Chivalry, 5 Anomaly titles and a few others.
Instead of paying any devs, all proceeds go to charity... No Humble tip either... just charity, And you can choose how much to each different charity.
$5 gets you nothing worth mentioning... $35 gets you all the games, as usual, you can pay any amount you choose.

They are also having their annual christmas charity bundle.Honestly I haven't been following it, last time I checked there were hardly any Linux games. Good to see the selection has expanded now :)

I get a segfault when trying Undertale (DRM free version from HiB ; daily MESA ppa ; RX 560). Any idea ? The workaround I see on forum doesn't work...

Hi and thanks for the info.
Just bought Duskers (50% off) and subscribed to the monthly bundle for one year, currently a special offer for $99,-. Even the games in this bundle are not so interesting, there 4 more coming on Jan. 4. and it gives me access to over 60 DRM free games, some are not so bad I think (AI-Wars and other Arcan games for example.)
PS.
For some weird reason there was something about "GamingOnLinux" when I checked out my games, hopefully that did not break this web side :)

If you haven't redeemed the keys yet, you can always pause for a month :)
P.S. The GamingOnLinux thing is a referral code that Liam added in, so they get a small cut when someone buys on Humble via their website.

Did not know I can pause for a month, thanks. Lets wait and see what the 4. Jan brings.
Yes I was hoping that Liam gets a little bit of it, hopefully from the $99 too.

Slay the Spire - 25% off - Easily one of the absolute best fusion of roguelikes and card games I've ever played.I agree... I've spent way too many hours in StS, won with all 3 characters, etc.,... and it runs great on Linux!
Lately I've been playing Monster Slayers... no Linux version, but it works with SteamPlay since one of the recent Steam Client and/or Proton updates. IMHO, MS has more strategic options to the deck building (I always feel like StS doesn't really let you FOCUS your deck as much as it could), more characters with different play-styles and specific cards, and is a bit less "random" in some areas - which makes it a bit more fun to me. I haven't played StS in over a month tho', so there could be improvements I haven't tried.
