For those who like to support the little one, itch.io have their own Winter Sale now live and there's a good choice of Linux games on sale.

While a lot of the focus on major sales ends up with people waiting on Steam, let's not forget the other smaller stores that support Linux. You can find some real gems on itch as well, while also supporting the developer even more since itch allows developers to set whatever percentage they like to give back to the itch store.

Some fun picks for Linux gamers:

As a reminder, to help you keep all your games up to date itch also have their own client. It's slick, it's open source and I haven't encountered many issues with it.

See the full list of Linux games on sale here. The sale ends on the 27th at 6PM UTC.

I can recommend Haque, it's very cool, and I will probably get Dicey Dungeons for myself because the dev is really good and it seems really fun. Like Slay the Spire but with DICE :D

Edit: *looks at accounts* OK I will buy it on the 27th when I get salary ^_^' It's on sale until 27th.

Ooh, I was planning to get Dicey Dungeons this Xmas for myself anyway. This just seals the deal.

Hidden Folks is tempting too, at 50% off. I hear it's excellent.

As the developer of the client, I couldn't pay for a better review honestly. Thanks for the chuckle!

I wanted to get Puzzle Puppers, but then I remembered that itch.io prices are fake, they add VAT on checkout. So I'll wait and get it on a steam sale instead.

You know, in the context of a sale like this it would be nice to have stuff you've put into a collection indicate whether it's on sale or not. I've got a "Wishlist" collection and I'd love to be able to just look at it and see, rather than going to each individual page or scrolling through all the stuff on sale.

I like what the dev of Dicey Dungeons said about itch.io:

Their game looks IS wonderful!
